there were good bits and mainly horrible bits - she sounds like a small cat singing this gonna be honest. she needs to figure out if shes gonna do head voice falsetto...belt or what? i cant deal with the switching. very nasal for me. open yr mouth girl.

haha. well i havnt heard her sing this live much before so she may have always sounded like that but i didnt like it - in fact she does sound a bit like that in the song doesnt she i guess but she has the beegees there to deepen the vocals.

while this performance was good, the 1997 one with the beegees is a beauty and the flow of her voice was far more superior. she was a bit sharp on some notes. she is becoming lazy with her technique but that is because she is tired and doing a lot of concerts. i can only imagine what she will sound like after the tour.

I do not see what was wrong with this performance. Only complain i have is the Little House on the Prairie hairdo;) i don't like this messy big hair that really looks like a wig.Also think that the brown hair looks better in her face.

btw loooooved the dress! Singing was nice too. No complain about that at all.

As I said earlier today I did enjoy the performance and think she sounded great. It's apparent though she struggled with the long note at the end hence why she improvised however I love how she mixed it up and it sounded great. She needs to work on her breathing though if she's to maintain that long note again.

I think there was a lack of control in some notes, she could hit, especially that final note, she's doing like Vegas, I do not know what's going on, it's a new technique or she's improvising, I do not like it much, , She seems a bit lazy, it seems she's singing more fierce, I do not know how to explain, she has a stronger voice in some notes, but it was a good performance, I loved it, I loved the dress, the hair.

Her voice is not going to sound like it did 20 years ago. I love that she's being creative and singing it as she feels it now. Adding little flourishes and changes. I also love that her voice doesn't sound quite as high, light as the original recording. This is why I love Celine. She can colour it differently and it still sounds great.

It also reminds me of those great recent performances of MHWGO. It shows artistry and changing it up is what these songs need. Different memorable performances not just same old, same old.

We're talking about a woman who has worked her #ss off putting on a Las Vegas show, releasing a French album, recording songs for an English album, appearing on numerous televised events, is raising her children, and still dealing with the loss of her husband and you seriously called her "lazy"?! That's absolutely ridiculous! Maybe you should show her how it's done since you're apparently extremely knowledgable of what it takes to be an international singing sensation. I'll be waiting for your album.
