I also thought she seemed sad, and still missing Rene very much.

 

But I have to say that I love that she said you can't compare the old and the new BATB, b/c it's like apples and pears! :giggle:

The question is, who is your favorite character? She says the beast. Her answer made me tear up. That is what I meant by her finding that intimacy again. :wub:

After watching the interviews I have to say that I teared up. . It was so obvious that she was sad.I mean how could it be different, she was kind of going back to what she did with Rene years ago. As she said this movie started her career in a way. Now she has to make her own dicissions and go through everything (red carpets, interviews, recording new albums etc..) all by herself. I read some comments saying that people ask about Rene, if you notice carefully they don`t have to ask, because she starts talking about him. I totally understand her. Rene was so many things in her life, that now she is having to recreate a new life for herself. He was her manager and as such she always made all the decisions with him. In many interviews both of them said that she was very much taking part in every aspect, but they did things together. Now its all up to her. In her private life he was the love of her life.In every picture and interview you could see how she looked at him. It broke my heart when she said `I miss dancing with my husband`If Iam not mistaking it was in 1999 on Opra and in her Bio that they said that they frequently danced together in the kitchen, at home etc... They shared dreams, interests, children and finally a life! How can that be forgotten so easily. All I can say is that she is doing very well under the circumstances.She looks beautiful.She is taking charge of her career, her children and her life. Now asking her to forget Rene and move on ....that`s a whole different story!

She just has so much class that whatever she says, people just find her cute and elegant. Doesn't matter she say apple and pizza or apple and Android.

Yes, the expression is "apples and oranges" - that's why I thought Celine was so cute!

 

It's at 6:40 of this video: "I'm still in love with Beauty and the Beast with Peabo Bryson. Nothing to compare. Apples and pears." It cracked me up, because she says it so earnestly!

so cute... apple and pears , ,it just means she is very creative. sometimes some specific words are in hiding in our brain, you take what's available...

In spanish we also say "pears and apples". Maybe in french it's the same way

I was thinking.. I really hope Céline's song gets the Oscar nomination and not Josh's.

i think that Celine's song is better than Josh's.... more varaiation, and add Celine voice, i mean Josh is good but Celine is really the best at bringing that kind of song to life. And The oscar would want Celine to sing.

In Portuguese u can say that, there's no expression, well i don't know any, it just means that two things are different

Law Roach is really doing a super great job ....celine has never be in the fashion spotlight before this....

She just didn't understand what LGBT meant and you can see Law kind of ready and listening to help but then he just let her talk and she was already just away from it so he didn't bother.

 

She should have said gay characters and she would have talked about it of course. She's never shied away from it and I'm sure she wouldn't.

I hope HE is there when the time comes for the next English album pictures and thinks BIG and glamourous like this night :)

I think it makes sense to first promote the new version of the duet:

- it is already well known - so in one hand they play on the memories

- and on the other hand they take benefit on the fact it is sung by current successful acts

 

But when the movie is released they may send Celine's song as well to the radio as then people will have discovered that this is actually the theme of the movie (sung by Maurice, Belle and Céline). If the movie is successful it may help.

 

Unless a huge phenomenon like Frozen, songs from Disney's movies are not promoted and sent to radios.

 

I completely don't understand those who expect a music video and some airplay. Céline is not even played with a pop song. ..so a more classical one. ..

 

And beside that fact, the song "evermore" sung by the prince/beast is standing out of all the new songs as per reviews so far.

 

I was curious... so gave it a listen... if this crap is gathering all the attention... how bad must be Céline's one?

 

 

Still don't know why Celine's song is not yet available.

 

I only heard a bad recording..it must be my bad earing because I don't understand how people can hear accent, nasality etc... as read in this topic.

 

Between all this and those who already see her winning an Oscar ... so many things are beyond my understanding is Celine's today world... lol
