TYLAM was a great song but Bicentennial Man was a flop and so was the song, same song on Avatar for instance would have been a hit and probably nominated to the Oscars.

 

This movie is expected to break some records according to industry insides so lets wait and see, at least to listening to the song in HQ.

 

Then You Look At Me should have been the theme song for Avatar. They should have "recycled" it. It fits PERFECTLY, and the song is AMAZING, so it's such a shame it never became the hit it should have been. It really is My Heart Will Go On 2.0.

I think it does. Then You Look At Me is all about seeing you and being seen. Fits just as well was "I See You". It's the same concept.

 

I actually don't think it fits Bicentennial Man much. I mean, he's an AI who wants to be mortal because everyone he loves dies. I think Then You Look At Me fits Avatar much better with the whole "now I see you, we are one" crap, lol.

I assume there will only be a video if the song is released as a single. For now, only BTTB with Ariana/John has been released... :whistling:

This reminds me a bit of I hate you then I love You. The way she lift to the high note part.

 

But still, sounded Nasal and rough. She lost the subtle in her voice. But I love how they put more high notes in this song. It makes the song be more dynamic.

No dodging of notes, she sings it so well here, she sings it clearly and her power is there... when she sing the part "MInutes TTTTTTTTTTTTTUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNN to hours...." I don't care if this song becomes a hit. it's already a great song added to my playlist. I'm just glad Celine is one of the few singers who is alreadya legend and last time I checked she still has it and she's still the greatest of them all. I highly doubt Mariah, Christina, Beyonce or even Rhianna can sing it like this and make the song sound so beautiful.... :) So no thanks I stick with Celine...forever. And this song will live on...

Her high notes became light unlike before... Her voice back in 2009 is still thick then in 2010, (we are the world) it became light - recent

i have to agree.. a little more subtle singing would have sound better. But I like the melody

I have been to one red carpet premiere and everyone stayed until the very end of the credit list because the audience that worked on the movie want to see their names up there. And while the credit list is running, everyone is clapping and cheering.

Who have experience a premiere show/movie like this? Do they stay till the end of the credits?

 

I've been to several red carpet movie premiers - sometimes people stay, or I should say SOME people stay - but most people start heading out. A) You want to beat the MOB of people trying to leave and B) You want to get to the party. :-D

I've been to quite a few. It's a lot of industry people so they tend to stay. There's often a Q&A with the filmmakers after the screening, too, so would be rude to leave.

I had a dream about the premier and I was sitting behind Celine in the theater and when she hears the music for BATB she tried to control herself but couldn't help it and started singing to the track! She delayed the rest of the movie because of a standing ovation. Then I woke up. :mellow:

I'm telling y'all she was really struggling to NOT sing but just couldn't help it! :sofunny:
