Are you implying there are one or two members who dislike me? Impossible!

:giggle:

Dislike you? Definitely not. One or two who would be jealous etc (unless they get a m&g too), yes! 😂😂

Let us know how you get on - know you'll enjoy the show regardless! 😁

According to Barnev, Birmingham had one of the best crowds

I can see why he thinks this - I was really taken aback by how into it the crowd was, was amazing.

Céline Dion, music's greatest ever singer, the biggest-selling Canadian artist of all-time and most successful female live act ever - what's not to love?

There is a small chance I will get a Meet & Greet with Celine! :w00t:

CelinesDIVO5, who will be with me at the concert, informed me today that he contacted those who are responsible for arranging M&G. I do not remember the details right now and chances are we will NOT get the M&G and I am prepared for that, but how exciting it is to even think I would meet Celine in person! Also, I would like to publicly thank CelinesDIVO5 for seizing the opportunity, it was such an amazing gesture! :)

Goof for you guys!!! Have lots of fun! and of course share the pics!

The lady next to me last night said she wasn't a massive Celine fan .. but just liked to go to concerts.

Well .. by the time the show ended, she was completely blown away. She did say she talks too much but otherwise it was one of the best shows she's been to in her life.

Veronic got a great reception too. Lots of people saying she should tour in the U.K. on her own.

I told her on Facebook & she was kind enough to reply. So nice of her. She was a great choice of 'support act'

I have to agree. I don't like when they tease it back, it always ends up falling flat and getting slicked to her head... Hair changes with age and the teased back look she pulled off so beautifully in the 90s just doesn't work anymore.

I really liked the long hair she had for the first English leg but if she's going to keep it short she needs to stick with this style:

My LORD! You can see AND hear her singing right to Rene. Look how she looks up to the sky throughout the song. Gorgeous performance.

I think that's the first time she ever did that or anything like it. I love that song but I do hope she plays around with it a bit more. Really step in to it the way she does an outfit and make it hers!

Tell me about it. I remember feeling this way last year and here I am again. I am NOT at all ready for this tour to end.

It was, not sure if you've heard her talking about him before she sang too, as I said in an earlier post is was very open and candid about how she didn't know what to do or what she needed in order to deal with her grief after he had died.

Hi Wendy, it's been a while since you been here. :)

You going next week to?

Did u get to hear her do soundcheck?

I check in from time to time 🙂

Sadly, I can't make it next week. The 2 Jackies will be there though (who won the soundcheck competition in 2008). We didn't get to hear the soundcheck this time.

Are you going to see her, or have you already done so? I can't get over how amazing she was last night - it was a wonderful night ❤️

I think her remarks before Recovering last night were the most emotional, vulnerable comments yet. And how Pink took the time to try to understand her, you can tell that still really moves her. I didn't know she looks up to the sky a lot when she sings that, or maybe even other sonsg where she does that. Thanks for that description. But yes, I heard what she talked about before Recovering. I hated how she said she tried to be strong for her kids and go on like nothing happened. What that's modeling for her sons is that we don't address/acknowledge our feelings, we just sweep them under the rug and go on as if nothing happened. That's often not possible, and emotions that we don't express show themselves in other ways. She has singing, thankfully, but I hope the boys have drawing, or writing, or skating or whatever it is that gets that out of them. I also really really really really reeeeeeeeeeally loved the part where she was talking about how wonderful maturity is because it makes us appreciate what we have, but never lose the child we have inside us. I loved that. Don't be surprised if that becomes my new signature. I need to take down her exact words in that instant because I want to quote it, but that moment really touched me too.
