Does anyone have the sticky toffee speech? 😂
I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

I'm "Matthew from New York City." Did you get to hear it? I feel famous now :giggle:

Yep! Heard the show live but can't find it online anywhere. Perhaps if enough of us ask for them to post it...

I loved that there were quite a few Celine 'converts' on. I think just a small sample of many out there who are now waking up to what we here have known all along! ;)

Sometimes people complain about the 'standardized speeches', but it's actually pretty cute how she goes out of her way to tailor her little talks to the city and really makes it into a unique experience. You know how many artists limit their interactions to 'hello (city x), great to be here!', 'i love (city x) so much!'? Pretty much all of them. Not Céline though.

God, I love this woman more and more each day ❤

Can't agree more. I love her speeches as well, and it's also fantastic, she makes an effort, to add some memories and stories connected to the city where she sings. It's silly, but sometimes, when I need a little Celine, I don't listen a song, but I search for an intewiev on YouTube. :sofunny:

Oh please don't remind me that. I left Spain in a crazy heatwave and I arrived to London into another heatwave which was even stronger  I had to take 2 showers daily because it was unbearable! And the tube that week... don't even want to remember that experience :whee:

I concur haha! It's mad to think that London was hotter than Spain at that time!!

Unbearable is certainly the word I would use to describe it!

And, of course, UK trains do not have air conditioning...

Hopefully, it will be just like you describe it...! I will try to take photos and maybe videos and post them here!

By the way, you're so pretty! :) (Gay guy here so not coming on to you, just had to say this)

Undoubtedly it will be! :D That would be great, if you could. I decided it wasn't important to take any, however afterwards I wished that I had.

Haha thank you! That's really sweet of you :)

People here are commenting on her voice condition now and saying it's much better! I also agree, and this is in no way is a Vegas hate post, but I really think it has to do with the high levels of humidty for over a month now that she has been intaking. Humidity is next to zero in Vegas and no matter what even if she has it in her dressing room, stage, and house it isn't enough, now even sitting outside she has it.

I'm not quite sure there might be a dvd/bluray for her current tour(though there might be a documentary).....and i think the only reason behind this is cause Celine and her team thinks that if they release a concert dvd she might not sell more performances in the future(people might not go to see her then)

So someone said that Celine kinda tripped or fell while performing le ballet

I think they did a lot of effort for filming the Paris shows if it's not for a dvd. If the London shows will be filmed it would be too much of a coincidence

Well then they shouldn't be lazy and put on a totally new show!

There is a small chance I will get a Meet & Greet with Celine! :w00t:

CelinesDIVO5, who will be with me at the concert, informed me today that he contacted those who are responsible for arranging M&G. I do not remember the details right now and chances are we will NOT get the M&G and I am prepared for that, but how exciting it is to even think I would meet Celine in person! Also, I would like to publicly thank CelinesDIVO5 for seizing the opportunity, it was such an amazing gesture! :)

Wowza! 😁 Think you may upset one or two people on here if you do though 🤣 And no I'm not one of them!

Okay, so yesterday was just a crazy day. Got there crazy early as expected it to be a mad rush to get in but it really wasn't - including queue times, searches and figuring out where we were seated, it took less than 15 minutes. So as we had loads of time to burn, only natural that we went for fish & chips.

Firstly, Veronic DiCaire was outstanding - she received a standing ovation and she was so good, I tweeted her last night to tell her. And she responded to me this morning! Seriously, she exceeded my expectations by a mile - and they were already high based on what I'd read. I thought it really lovely though that every stood for her when she was finished - naturally, I was one of the first.

Onto the show itself, there are no words to describe the feelings you feel when you first experience this woman - it's so much more than awe, it's an experience and one that I will never forget for as long as I live. I love her music, I love her voice and I love her spirit - but goodness me, there is nothing like experiencing it all in one setting at the same time.

The opener is so effective - the stage goes dark and you hear her doing her wonderful riffing before you then hear..."The whispers in the morning..." and everybody goes crazy. And then you don't see her until the first chorus starts with "cos I'm your laaaaaadyyyyyy".

She did both Le Ballet and Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore - both went down really well. With Le Ballet - I just have no words. People were shocked but literally loving every moment like I was, to see her performing in such a way was a revelation. And then when PQTME came on, loads of people all over the arena got the lights on their phones going - it was quite a moment.

How Does A Moment Last Forever was really a revelation to me - it's a beautiful record but doesn't really go anywhere. However, I love what she does with it in a live performance setting, her vocal inflections work really well.

Think Twice went down well as did It's All Coming Back To Me Now - the vocals on both are straight out the 90s. But the song that probably went down best of all out of her big hits with the crowd was Because You Loved Me - pure mad love from the moment it came on until the end.

OMG River Deep Mountain High - people were going mad for it. It's so different hearing that live than it is watching it on a video. Proper crowd pleaser.

The crowd stayed with her all evening, on their feet for 90% of the night - I was really taken aback by it, a fantastic crowd from start to finish. Negatives - she talks a LOT which I'm fine with but she keeps cutting the playlist and it bothers me. I really wanted to witness Loved Me Back To Life live and it still surprises me that A New Day Has Come hasn't been part of the playlist. There were some funny moments (she kept talking about sticky toffee pudding ) but I'd rather less chat and more songs. Also, Love Can Move Mountains is just a train wreck - it's not pleasant to witness and it makes me cringe watching it live.

I love her infinitely more than I already did. Be under no illusion, THAT voice is still very much in pristine condition with immense power and control and she is a commanding live performer. A night I will never forget.

You can hear my friend in the background, she's also in awe as you can tell.

Last night was brilliant wasn't it. It was my fourth and final show of this tour and did not disappoint at all, she was amazing in every way.

Also, for all the talk and gossip about her that has been on here and in the press recently, it was nice to see that she actually hasn't changed at all. She is insanely talented, funny, wise and her head is completely screwed on. I also thought her honesty and openness last night was very moving when she was talking about dealing with Rene's death. It is clear that she is still very much in love with him and how much she must miss him.

Pepe who?
