Daniel1997 Posted July 28, 2017 at 07:46 AM Posted July 28, 2017 at 07:46 AM To be honest The Reason being cut is ok to me, I like the beginning but at the end I think it's getting bombastic/annoying - I still like the song though, but I guess it's also vocally demandingThe Colour Of My Love - I witnessed in Arnhem that she got really emotional due to the enormous applause after Recovering so I can imagine it's really hard to sing her wedding song Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-A500FU met Tapatalk 1 Quote
Alison_Loves_Celine Posted July 28, 2017 at 07:47 AM Posted July 28, 2017 at 07:47 AM I tried to go live a few times last night but the phone signal was abysmal for the most part! I did get a couple of videos so I'll try to load them onto YouTube when I get a chance. Not had wifi for a couple of days & it's been too slow on 4G. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Javito Posted July 28, 2017 at 07:54 AM Posted July 28, 2017 at 07:54 AM Forget A Spanish album. Sony still want that 2nd Xmas album out of her.... And who says there can't be both done? 1 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
Shamrock_1982 Posted July 28, 2017 at 08:20 AM Posted July 28, 2017 at 08:20 AM As nice as a Spanish album would be, I honestly can't see it happening... A Spanish song here and there on future English/French album releases is more possible. 1 Quote

anna Posted July 28, 2017 at 10:13 AM Posted July 28, 2017 at 10:13 AM (edited) She already did it on Jimmy Fallon show. Not jokingly but the full song CH live would've been great. I'm watching clips now. Thank you everybody for posting videos while being there, so generous! Edited July 28, 2017 at 10:29 AM by anna Quote

A Spanish song here and there on future English/French album releases is more possible. Definitely think it would be better to have a Spanish song on English albums. Just like LTAL 😃 Or maybe release an EP? That could be huge if they timed it right - like releasing it just as she tours Spanish territories. Think it would work better than a whole Spanish album. I'd rather she left that to masters like Gloria etc. Anyway, glad to see TSMGO back! 2 Quote

Popular Post wjd Posted July 28, 2017 at 11:35 AM Popular Post Posted July 28, 2017 at 11:35 AM (edited) Okay, so yesterday was just a crazy day. Got there crazy early as expected it to be a mad rush to get in but it really wasn't - including queue times, searches and figuring out where we were seated, it took less than 15 minutes. So as we had loads of time to burn, only natural that we went for fish & chips. Firstly, Veronic DiCaire was outstanding - she received a standing ovation and she was so good, I tweeted her last night to tell her. And she responded to me this morning! Seriously, she exceeded my expectations by a mile - and they were already high based on what I'd read. I thought it really lovely though that every stood for her when she was finished - naturally, I was one of the first. Onto the show itself, there are no words to describe the feelings you feel when you first experience this woman - it's so much more than awe, it's an experience and one that I will never forget for as long as I live. I love her music, I love her voice and I love her spirit - but goodness me, there is nothing like experiencing it all in one setting at the same time. The opener is so effective - the stage goes dark and you hear her doing her wonderful riffing before you then hear..."The whispers in the morning..." and everybody goes crazy. And then you don't see her until the first chorus starts with "cos I'm your laaaaaadyyyyyy". She did both Le Ballet and Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore - both went down really well. With Le Ballet - I just have no words. People were shocked but literally loving every moment like I was, to see her performing in such a way was a revelation. And then when PQTME came on, loads of people all over the arena got the lights on their phones going - it was quite a moment. How Does A Moment Last Forever was really a revelation to me - it's a beautiful record but doesn't really go anywhere. However, I love what she does with it in a live performance setting, her vocal inflections work really well. Think Twice went down well as did It's All Coming Back To Me Now - the vocals on both are straight out the 90s. But the song that probably went down best of all out of her big hits with the crowd was Because You Loved Me - pure mad love from the moment it came on until the end. OMG River Deep Mountain High - people were going mad for it. It's so different hearing that live than it is watching it on a video. Proper crowd pleaser. The crowd stayed with her all evening, on their feet for 90% of the night - I was really taken aback by it, a fantastic crowd from start to finish. Negatives - she talks a LOT which I'm fine with but she keeps cutting the playlist and it bothers me. I really wanted to witness Loved Me Back To Life live and it still surprises me that A New Day Has Come hasn't been part of the playlist. There were some funny moments (she kept talking about sticky toffee pudding ) but I'd rather less chat and more songs. Also, Love Can Move Mountains is just a train wreck - it's not pleasant to witness and it makes me cringe watching it live. I love her infinitely more than I already did. Be under no illusion, THAT voice is still very much in pristine condition with immense power and control and she is a commanding live performer. A night I will never forget. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AT7zi8ps8Tg You can hear my friend in the background, she's also in awe as you can tell. Popular Post Kerol Posted July 28, 2017 at 11:56 AM Popular Post Posted July 28, 2017 at 11:56 AM Sorry, I know, we're just waiting for the London show, but now I have the time to write a few worlds about the 23rd Berlin concert. This was my really first Celine live concert, and it was just gorgeous! She was so energetic during the whole show, I think she really enjoyed the reactions of the crowd. I'm really happy she seems to be well for now, and she enjoys the concerts, singing and life! I loved the speeches, they were soooo funny! And the hit vs. career speech... OK I heard it several times in the live streams, but being part of the standing ovation... I was crying. 23rd of July was one of the best days of my life, with seeing the Queen live, my bigget dream came true. Before the tour I also had a song wishlist, like many other fans, but when I were there, I dind't mind LCMM, I was just happy to hear her voice, and to see that for now she is OK. The last song, LOML, was just stunning, I think I was holding my breath during the whole song. I hope I will have the opportunity in this life to attend her show once (OK, more than once) again. It would be the best, if she would come to Europe every year... or almost every second one. Sorry once again for the Berlin post, but I had to share my experiences with people who understand what I'm about. 11 Quote

Glad you had a great experience I love her talking on stage, looooove it. But yeah I totally agree with you, being THERE and not watching on a video is totally different. Like for example, I rarely bother listening to TSMGO in Las Vegas on video, but I LOVED it in Paris! and each time (was to 4 concert) I was looking forward toit. 3 Quote

Popular Post Dancing_Queen Posted July 28, 2017 at 12:41 PM Popular Post Posted July 28, 2017 at 12:41 PM Sometimes people complain about the 'standardized speeches', but it's actually pretty cute how she goes out of her way to tailor her little talks to the city and really makes it into a unique experience. You know how many artists limit their interactions to 'hello (city x), great to be here!', 'i love (city x) so much!'? Pretty much all of them. Not Céline though.God, I love this woman more and more each day ❤ 11 Quote

Alison_Loves_Celine Posted July 28, 2017 at 12:54 PM Posted July 28, 2017 at 12:54 PM The lady next to me last night said she wasn't a massive Celine fan .. but just liked to go to concerts. Well .. by the time the show ended, she was completely blown away. She did say she talks too much but otherwise it was one of the best shows she's been to in her life. Veronic got a great reception too. Lots of people saying she should tour in the U.K. on her own. I told her on Facebook & she was kind enough to reply. So nice of her. She was a great choice of 'support act' Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 7 Quote
