wow, I didn't really realized how short the show became. This is a VERY short concert indeed!

 

I'm so glad that I got to see the concert in Arnhem with TCOML

Then by logic she has to cut Recovering

 

I don't think Recovering relates to him as much since she did it after he was gone... I think it relates more to the grieving process than the life they shared.

 

If TSMGO was indeed cut from tonight's show, then my thought from a few days ago matches your sentiments exactly. She must be having tough times emotionally with those songs. I truly hope she's doing okay.

Yeah, I don't think any of those relate to Rene on anywhere near the same level as TCOML (their wedding song) and TSMGO (one of Rene's favorite songs and such a huge anthem during the last few months of his life)

if it was because it is too hard emotionnally, she would have replaced them with somethig else... They decided to cut it for whatever reason, saving her voice being the major one. But it is all opinions. :) Edited by québecflower

Everyone and their wishful thinking of a DVD that is not happening and setlist revivals that also are not happening.....lol kinda amusing. When have songs ever been cut only to be brought back? Never....setlists get smaller all the time, no reason to expect songs to be cut only to be replaced with another.

Highly disappointed I will not be listening to a live performance of TCOML and TR. These songs mean more to me than any of her big hits like IACBTMN, BYLM, ABM, TPOL. And more than LB which replaced them. I am still looking forward to the concert, don't get me wrong. I just feel unlucky to have my two favourite songs of this tour being cut slightly before her shows here. :down:

Cutting TSMGO does not make sense to me either. The recently deleted songs definitely worked on stage and kept the crowd going. TCOML and TR are fan-favourites, absolute highlights for so many members here, while the TSMGO served as a show-stopper, everyone knows that.

 

Maybe, I say MAYBE, Celine lost the interest and excitement she had when she first started this tour. Assuming this assumption is correct, then it completely destroys the perpetuated notion of Celine being a different artist when she is outside of Vegas, with more passion, excitement and energy.

I SOOOOO agree. Céline has her stage life, but that's only a fraction of her life. Why can't some people just leave her alone and let her have a private, personal life?! She has feelings too and I'm sure she wouldn't approve of all this nonsense talk going on on this forum. I'm starting to get a little angered but I'm holding it to myself cause I know what it'll stir up again. I just wish people could see she has a life, friends, and that people would respect that!!! We don't need prior approval of whatever we think, we should just LET IT GO!

I can only imagine your disappointment but I know that your experience of seeing her live for the first time will be something you'll remember forever and will be something you keep close to your heart.

They did TSMGO!! It was cut in Berlin but back tonight!

I do understand how you feel.

 

But like before the 1st Paris show, I had studied the set list and at the concert it self, I totally forgot all about it and just enjoyed ever single song she sang. It wasn't even until after the show when I was like ohh woooo she sang that song and this song... You totally forget everything and you just listen with stars in your eyes.

The audience were amazing. Totally up for a good night & Celine was feeding off of it. She put on a sensational show tonight!!

It is really interesting to see how this setlist has evolved. I am really glad though, that I saw one of the first Anglophone shows. It still had some message left in it while now it seems cut to pieces. Maybe Celine is evolving faster than the show they had in mind at first. Whatever reason that may have ;-)
