I really think we need a separate topic for this now as it's dragging this topic down... we all know the craic now, but please we have spent enough time talking about this, let's look forward to this tour and stay positive yet be alert!

Javito- you'd rather have a polished playback performance of something rather than her current voice? We follow Céline for her voice. For 30 years she has sung for us and it's changed, just like she has. I love all the nuances in her voice and how it's changed- yes, I loved the purity and power of the past, but I love to hear how she adapts live, like when she sings MHWGO, how she compensates for not maybe being able to deliver 100% how it was- what we then get is magic.

 

She's a singer. An amazing one. No playback required or desired.

MHWGO from the tour last Summer is one of my favourite memories. I know we've all heard it thousands of time, but last Summer it had it's magic back. Nothing can replace that.

I asked my husband to create his set list for Celine's upcoming European tour. To be honest, my husband is a big rock fan. He likes AC/DC, ZZ Top etc, but he likes also singers as Celine or Shania Twain, but he is more random fan. My question is, which songs do you like to hear during her summer tour: (Songs aren't in order)

I'd take this with a grain of salt. The video just shows her belting those notes not even on stage, might just be her warming up or for her mic check.

You can do it and you probably have more control that you think. It's going to be hard but it's so worth it. I did it last year for Montreal and I don't regret it one bit.

I got a feeling " To Love You More" will be back. I hope they take some risks with the English setlist instead of just taking the Vegas setlist and trade a few songs for " I Drove All Night ", "To Love You More " and "The Prayer", which I can totally see but hope not. Also have a a feeling they will bring back the predictable and boring "ALONE" which would be disappointing.

 

I hope they bring totally newer songs instead of take a bit from the TC world tour and both Vegas shows and mix it together.

I personally wouldn't mind TLYM because she's traveling with the orchestra which opens up the opportunity for a new arrangement (also biased because it's my favorite song but... ).

I don't think she'll do "Alone". That song was a message for Rene. At least that's how I've always interpreted it from her.

I've always had a sweet spot for I'm your angel. Kinda liked that song. I'm hoping to see ttwii and andhc in their standard arrangements and I'm alive to just be dropped (unlikely).

 

Also don't want to see to love you more unless in the acoustic medley which is unlikely.

"To Love You More" was my mom's favorite Celine song. So, I have a soft spot for it. I guess I would be okay with "I'm Your Angel," but only if R. Kelly is on screen. I'm tired of Barnev doing Kelly's vocals.
