I’m currently in Paris so I couldn’t live track keep up with the last show. It just seems fitting though, a new song and the end of Vegas and I’m in Paris. I’ve enjoyed the show through the years immensely. But as Celine reminds us, an end is only a new beginning for something else!!! Bring on the new, Celine!

It's bittersweet that this residency is finally ending. We've been through a lot of frustration, tears, surprised, laugh and a lot more during this residency. Tomorrow, it must be weird knowing that there's no more waterfall for MHWGO. I realize that this show has been giving us some kind of stability too, nut just for her you know. The daily updates, and kinda always know what to expect. This show. It would be missed ( ok, maybe for me and some people ) thanks all for the memories together! Could this ending have been more perfect? I am still crying. When she started singing "over the rainbow" I just loved it.When I saw the pictures I just lost it. She found a beautiful way to have Rene back on stage with her. She finished Vegas with the four men of her life by her side! Congrats Celine ,go ahead fly on your own on the wings of their love!

Oh my god, this is the only person on Earth who can make me cry so hard... That Over the rainbow performance... It's 8:30 here, about to go to work and my eyes are flooded.

 

I adimre Céline's persistence so much! 8 years of a second residency in Vegas and she's about to start a World Tour. Who else can do that? Who's fans can say that her idol is such a hard-worker (and money-maker)?

Love that she closed the show with Over The Rainbow. Absolutely perfect.

 

It was emotional watching her bow with her boys by her side. They're all in this together. With Rene watching over them.

 

We are lucky to be fans of such a legendary, one of a kind woman.

 

Thankful we all got to go on this Vegas journey together! She's going out on top, as always. And no one will come close to what she's accomplished on the strip. We should all be incredibly proud of her and what she's achieved. Truly iconic.

Was lucky enough to be able to be there tonight and I'm still processing all of the emotion! Somewhere over the rainbow was an absolute tearjerker and I was so surprised to see that she brought it back for tonight. I remember her performing that in 2015 and how amazed I was by the beauty of it, and tonight did not disappoint either. Truly an end of an era..

Yeah I loved this ending and great to see the boys and Rene included.

 

And so lovely to see the side of Celine that I became a fan of all those years ago. No strange outfits, no random experimenting with swearing in public, no random kissing people and all the other slightly odd things she's been doing recently, just pure Celine. Classy, calm, in control, surrounded by her family and happy. Refreshing to see.

It's been a blessing to be a part of these shows over the last several days. On top of just being able to go to her concerts, being able to be a part of the moshpit, touching Celine's hand, and singing, dancing, and being hype with fans that I'd just met when I sat down... it's a complete joy. Tonight, I got to wave goodbye to Dawn and Elise as they left the Colosseum, and had the chance to take a picture with RC! And getting to see the fireworks set off from the after party across the street. I got to meet up with Brendan (brendanm999), who I hadn't seen since 2015 in Vegas, and also by complete chance and running into each other, other fans that I'd met in Montreal in 2016. As well as meeting so many fans that I'd talk with here online or seen elsewhere but haven't had the opportunity to meet in person, finally got to meet Tracey (you're so sweet and kind ). Meeting up outside the Colosseum, getting brunch and dinner together, waiting outside the garage, everything's been just so much fun with everyone along. I'd been away from the forum for a little bit, still reading but not actively posting, but these concerts have just reminded me about how close we are as a community which is created out of our love for Celine. Vegas is ending on a bittersweet note and while opinions on the show might have been mixed over the years, I wouldn't have been able to meet and experience so much of our community had it not been for this residency. Though we'll continue to talk here, I hope that one day, we'll be able to meet up and see each other in-person again! (Sorry for being sappy!)
