I think that the walking was cut to save some time. Personally, I would prefer to cut a costume change than this beautiful moment!

Did something happen???

 

She was shoved a couple of times and they couldn't control people from swarming her, and at least once someone jumped out and hugged her.

It became a swarm. It would start with just people on the aisle wanting a picture and turn into the entire aisle every aisle dumping out and trying to meet her. But, I think the shoving and blocking her path became the real issue more so than the time. I am so glad they cut it. It was uncomfortable to watch and made her team seem out of control. It went from a fun moment for people to chaotic, awkward, and just uncomfortable. It's too bad people just couldn't behave, but suddenly people felt entitled and then became aggressive.

Yea, it was nice in the beginning but it became a madhouse.

ok i just want to know what's her problem with mics ,it like she is annoying for her team I'm sure,like one day the guy gives her the wirless mic and shes like oh no i want the corded one today sorry I don't feel that one today ,and then the second day i want the wirless,and the guy is like there u go miss dion ,and shes like no the round wirless the one with the silver from the front i hate that black tall one today maybe I'll use it tomorrow,and then .............. what the .......is her problem with mics ,she is superstitious ok but it's like a problem really that she has,mics has nothing to do for ur voice ,u sing then u sing in sny damn mic Edited by artistman2007

I just hate the wired mic. It doesn't suit a show for 2016. It's too dated and it limits her stage presence and to be honest I'm worried she will trip and fall at some point after all she's only human and it's possible. I bet if God forbid that happens and she falls and really hurts herself from the stupid cord then she will finally accept the fact that it isn't 1996 anymore. If being superstitious is her reason than I really don't understand because she went about 15 years without before it made its return after the revamp of the Vegas show.

I think when the day she stumbles with that looooooooong wire she'll never go back to that wired mic again. But i think she uses this now because she doesn't move that much anymore unlike before. The last time i saw her move/dance so much was back in her Taking Chances Tour.

Is there a reason we have this topic here when there is the official "Celine" topic in the "Celine" section of the forum?

I think that every thread is much more "alive" here (Celine Dion Discussions) than in its section. The same happened with the Summer tour as well. When there was no "residency" topic in the Discussions we could barely see a post in the "Celine" section.

While inVegas this past week I realized that Sia is performing on Friday night in Vegas. Wonder if she would pop in to see Celine on Saturday for her 1000th performance? I sent a tweet to @sia to ask. Would be special to Celine since she loves her so much.
