Someone posted a link to an instagram with many videos and it included an upclose snippet of the reeason

Where can we find the opening speech?

 

Hahah and as much as I love the fact they finally did something unexpected.

 

Unfortunately this does take away a bit of the anticipation for the tour.

But it was cool to see they did something fresh.

 

But some outfits, that FIY one,looks like one comfy PJ haha.

 

I hope this isn't the final setlist, they just can't keep the end exactly the same as Vegas, that would be way toooo lazy.

1) The promoters recently said its only 80% ready (the show)

 

2) its clear they are still in the rehearsal phase

 

3) the show is only 90 minutes. Her average tour length is 2 hours or more. So theres still another 30 mins of performance not done yet

Also I think certain things were kept for Vegas purposely. I doubt she’ll sing the prince medley on tour but in order to keep the pit going they kept it.

 

Also in the last tour she sang WDMHB I think it’s safe to say that’ll be gone because she always does that one in Vegas she would have done it last night if it was going on tour. Also she did HDAMLF I doubt that will be included in the tour. So their will be room to include more songs.

 

Also I don’t get why Celine always does IA and TTWII together in the beginning they are highlights and work more better at the end of the show before the encore in my opinion.

They could have just skipped it because other songs needed better rehearsing. A lipped filler will always have a place. Dont count it out yet.

Imo, TTWII would serve as a great uptempo number after MHWGO rather than leave on a depressing note.

 

 

And yes i agree. the only reason the prince medley was done was for the mosh pits inclusion. They also still had some of the songs in the wrong part of the show.

 

 

And as Celine herself said. Last night was the first full dress rehearsal, which makes me think tonight we may see some differences from the previous night

Doubt it. She hasnt done WDMHBN on tour since 2013, even before that she hadnt done it since 1997. Plus, shes doing a good job of this. Its just a rehearsal

Speaking of merging together... what made Celine and her team think that At 17 was a good tour song? Not even in a medley does that song belong on tour, in Vegas I can almost see it in the setlist but on the road really?

Maybe she can sing some early songs of hers from her Unison album except "Where Does My Heart Beat Now?"

I would definitely drop At 17 though, one of my least favourite songs ever 🤮

Why not? It's a better-quality song than the vast majority of her English repertoire. And it's great in a minimalist acoustic setting.

Give me At Seventeen over I'm Alive any day (cringe).

And I love the original but could you imagine it as a beautiful ballad acoustic version :wub:

I think it would be great in a slowed down stripped setting!
