Oh, how I have loathed that butchered version of TLYM for years!

 

Her still performing that version even with taro flying out there in 2006 is easily one of the most cringeworthy decisions regarding a performance her team made....that and the 90 second version of bylm filmed for hit man....

Normally I would stay here and continue to update but I've gotten nothing in the last little while and I really need to get to bed cause I need to be up at 5am tomorrow for something so I will be heading out now. I promise I will do one final glance before I close my lights tonight. Otherwise I will see you all tomorrow night for the final show of this leg.

Omg. How soon can i fly out tomorrow??

 

Tlym...okay everyone has freaked out about this song BUT NOBODY IS FREAKING OUT ABOUT THE ARRANGEMENT YET WHY OMG...first i about died at the long first verse..

.then the second verse i went to heaven....a few shaky notes so i think live but it was so perfect idk!! I love when her songs are performed in full. Last time that song was sung that long was maybe 1999?

 

Unison...ill be honest i dont know about the arrangment but one crap video is hard to tell. It can grow on me and I think its something she will get more comfortable with. Im glad she has dug this one out. I love this song and im always a fan of stripped down arrangements. I may suggest trying this with a ballad though. Replicate the same beauty we feel with piano version iacbtmn at rosie o'donnell??

 

Falling into you...im glad this song is revived i only seen about 15 seconds but she appeared to be moving quite a lot with awfully steady vocal. I need to watch a better video and hear more. Interesting this is the song with choreo this time around!!

 

Mhwgo live again is great. She sounded awesome.

We usually have totally opposite opinions, Tyler, but I could not agree with you more about most of this. I am shocked as Hell at the songs tonight. I am beyond grateful I got to be there live Toesday and Wednesday, and, also, at the same time, damn I would have loved to be there sooooooooo bad tonight. Unison, I agree, odd arrangement, needs more percussion but she could get used to it for sure. to love you more, complete, full, OMG wow! Falling Into You, yes please! Keep it coming. Great to see Think Twice live. Wasn't perfect but still great. I also hope Ashes was still done, I can't see it not being done since it also helps promote Deadpool 2. What an amazing surprise! Wow.

Oh God, that really was one of the most fresh shows Celine's ever done! Hope there are still some surprises for the tour left

I feel like i want to cry when I hear that accoustic Unison, it's different yet it so good. And what's make me emotional is I might be watch it in person in her asia tour.

I really hope you do. i hope this is just a trial run for what's to come. I dobt what you all who were there got tonight is the whole thing, but I do hope what happened tonight will get in somehow some way. I would love to hear an entire version of a new day has come. I like that the key was lowered a half-step. I think because it would be difficult for a violin to play that song in its original key. Also loved that she did PQTME, that makes sense if it's the one French song she will do in predominently English-speaking or other foreign but non-French speaking countries. This is going to be an amaaaaazing tour! I honestly hope someone recorded tonight, because I will so wanna hear that show in full! And I do hope Ashes was done tonight, lol at Tyler's joke at some oldies turning ashes into ashes. That was funny, dude! And whoever said our queen is perfect, I know some think I'm too mushy/sentimental anyway, but I agree completely!

I think this is all just rehearsal for Asia - outfits included possibly.

of course it is, the setlist is kind of similar to last years European setlist

Probably show length for the asian tour will be longer than the Vegas show.

 

I hope she will sing songs like I love you goodbye.

I WISH!!!!!!!!! Sad song, that one may be too hard for her to get through even still, but that kind of vibe/idea of old or never-before performed songs, Hell yes! Definitely. And I am sorry, as much as I do have a new respect for Kiss/Purple Rain cuz you get a whole new appreciation for them being right in the dead center of the mosh pit, I do seriously hope Kiss/purple Rain are NOT part of the Asia setlist. Granted I know diddly squatt about what audiences over there want, but still. And ditto to whoever said most of Friday night's audience had absolutely positively no idea what a rare treat they got last night. I forget, I think we all do, that the final two shows in Vegas before a Summer tour/concert like Une Seule Fois get to try on what she wants/plans to do! I also forgot to add that I LOVED the little adlib things she did in PQTME. If she didn't amaze the s***t out of me this week enough, she only continues! :wub: :w00t: :clap: :wub: :cheer:

It’s going to be an amazing tour , though I feel a little sorry for those who were hoping to have a surprise and not know in advance.

Absolutely fantastic for those in Vegas right now and I hope the postive reaction from fans and the crowd drives them to shake up the Vegas show! Last night proved how easily it can be done!!

I would also like to see that's the way it is sped up just a bit. I also hope the Asia tour shows are a bit longer, too. Knowing nothing about culture over there, I can't understand why they would be, but if they are I sure as Hell won't object to that!

I agree. I think it was live Friday night because think about it, what other footage or track would they have had to draw/pull from? It has truly been THAT long since she performed it live and it does not at all sound like back in 1996. And there are things she did with her voice, little cute ways of playing/experimenting with a song that I don't think I ever heard her do before. I don't think that song was ever right, sadly, for US markets, but it might just be well received in Asia and Australia/New Zealand this Summer!

I think the outfits are a combinations What we Will see on tour.. like the mini green dress she Will never wear that in Jakarta..

Also that black dress with the split is already risky so maybe that’s also something she Will not wear There...

 

The falling into you dress fits Jakarta it don’t have skin at all.. maybe she has more outfits... 🤷🏻‍♀️

i am maybe in the minority of not liking that golden suit. Too manly, i would rather see something sexier, more glamorous..
