in my opinion the new band could do a nice revisited live versions from One Heart, they are F****** good

 

Unison and One Heart are the only albums that have a different environment from other ones, more dance clubing, more egg, more rock, smoking vocals

 

 

the problem from OH is the recycling used songs, and she didn't promote well, no tour, she used the TV to promote vegas, not the album it self at that time

 

Have you ever been in love - killed the album

 

it should have been a single one ANDAC not in OH

 

and Coulda woulda Shoulda + Sorry for love should have been only bonus tracks together with all because of you

 

I love the single, amazing IDAN

 

but they waste amazing songs like in his touch, reveal, stand by your side, faith

For the time being I focused on English songs that were never sung or sung once or twice (like WTWOLYR or SLS). Even though I would love to hear ALL of them at some point, I highlighted ones that would be the most thrilling to see live, including my top 5.

 

Also, there are more songs from albums post 2002 cause these are the ones which were mostly neglected.

 

I would like stress one thing though. I would love to see this "unknown" tour in reality but I would like them to include such gems in full cause they just deserve it. AM/TLS/NBP or ANDHC/TTWII/IA medleys are great but there is always a part of a song that I miss.

You bring up a good point. Wonder if we will ever hear some of those songs in full again. I was just thinking about how long has it been since she sang TPOL in full?

Ok....I've thought about it for a bit and I agree NPO is on my list. I adore it. Some others I'd like are Faith, WTT, and even though it may be hard vocally IWYTNM would be amazing live....even if it's just once.

 

From her French repotoire, I'd love it if Zora was able to see the light of day! And Anything from 1F4T or D'elles.

Even re-releasing "Have You Ever Been In Love" and a different version of "Sorry For Love" on the album was a risk itself. Not one that was well-received by many, but it was still a risk. "Coulda Woulda Shoulda" played with a different style of lyrics and sounds - almost a synth version of some African styles of music. "Je t'aime encore" took a risk by incorporating a French title for a primarily English "lyriced" song on an English album. Now, I really think that this album was a "fill-in", meaning "we make a new album because we have to, or because it would give people some songs".

I don't feel like this album was a project in itself, like Miracle, or D'elles. It is rather a compilation of simple songs (and not hits or songs that will leave a mark in the industry), and covers (IDAN is a cover, HYEBIL is a duplicate from ANDHC, SFL did not even need Celine, JTE is a translation ...).

This is my point of view.

I dont mind TPOL or IACBTMN. These are brillant Songs, but I just cannot stand the supid Medley which makes the magic of both songs dissapear. I would love to have these 2 at the very End of the concert in full with a lot of drama and I want to feel the magic that they contain, the magic that gives you goosebumbs and leaves you speechless. When performed in the beginning of the show, they totally loose the magic.

 

She should open with sth uptempo and new and winish with her amazing dramatic ballads which she is famous for

It is, One Heart is like the second disc of A New Day Has Come, and extension of that album . And there are many reasons to think that almost all the songs in One Heart actually belong and were recorded for ANDHC. The plans to continuate the promotion for ANDHC were still big in late 2002 and 2003, but since Céline was starting her (voluntary) imprisonment in Vegas and would stop all promotion to focus on the show, Sony and her team thought it would be better to present the show together with a brand new release of music and a brand new single to grab the attention.

 

But a 2 disc set of ANDHC with all the songs included in OH and the unreleased ones would be a dream, definitely . A powerful album indeed, more than what it is currently with 17+2 songs (Coulda Woulda Shoulda and All Because Of You)

Agreed! I was disheartened when I found out "Love Is All We Need" had been cut from "A New Day..." right before its premiere. I really hope TeamCeline will release the footage of Celine rehearsing this song sometime in the near future.

Also, some songs just don't work that well live. Especially in arenas and stadiums. And I suppose as your back catalogue grows it means there's less space for album tracks. We all know a huge amount of people go to concerts hoping to hear certain songs. Such a shame cos celine has some amazing album tracks. Next Plane Out is one of my favourites ❤

I don't think NPO sounds dated! But no I'm not sure how it would work in an arena. But I'm thinking that IF she were to do a show like this it would be a smaller venue. It screams somewhere like The Royal Albert Hall to me. The sound would be amazing! 😀

OH is full of easy listening, radio friendly songs, but most of them are not big enough for the stage. It's the type of songs one listens while driving the car or working out or cleaning the house. The only album cuts I'd really enjoy live would be Reveal and acoustic versions of Stand By Your Side and Naked.
