Well after 10 yrs on this forum, the behaviour and reactions of the 90% of the ppl here are so predictable.

At this point in het career Celine can do ANYTHING her little heart desires. But she never deviates from the tried and true. I just wish for once in her life she would do a concert tour of the songs SHE wants to do instead of always being the people pleaser. I know for sure that she would have the support of the fans no matter what songs she chose to do.

 

So why not take a chance Céline. Just once!! :(

I have to wonder why Celine never performed these songs even when promoting the albums they were on. Did she not like them? Did Rene not like them? Are they too difficult to sing for some reason? ( i can't believe this! Celine can sing anything! Tee! hee!).

 

It's particularly strange with "Next Plane Out" which had a video although the footage was recycled.

 

I would faint if she ever sang "If I Were You" live. I have always loved that song..

Good question. Maybe René only had the answer to that, because Céline just did what she was told to (or used to do, from now on :blush: ). She sang and performed always what others told her and rarely got away with her own choices or preferences :pinch:

Also, some songs just don't work that well live. Especially in arenas and stadiums. And I suppose as your back catalogue grows it means there's less space for album tracks. We all know a huge amount of people go to concerts hoping to hear certain songs. Such a shame cos celine has some amazing album tracks. Next Plane Out is one of my favourites ❤

She could easily pull it off but it needs to be well advertised. It needs to be clear: do not expect any hits. I hope it happens sooner or later.
