There is a viral video that involves a Céline Dion T-shirt that I have been sent, probably it has already been posted on the forum but nevermind.

Anyone from this forum looking for a new hobby or business idea ought to start selling T-shirts and coffee mugs with the Window Meme on it. :giggle: They’d make a fortune!

This incarnation of what I'm now calling "The Window meme" has particular significance to me. Aaron Schock was a closeted, former Republican Congressman from my hometown of Peoria. Pretty much everyone in the world (except his deeply religious parents) always suspected that he was gay and ridiculed him for being a coward, but today he officially came out—and apparently the LGBTQ community isn't being very "accepting" of him... kinda sad, really. But this still made me LOL.

- never having a girlfriend

- hiring a gay “personal photographer” who accompanied him on trips

- being a young Republican who voted against gay rights, instead of taking a more accepting, Millennial stance

- dressing flamboyantly

- appearing shirtless on the cover of Men's Health

- a GQ photoshoot

- commenting to TMZ on Paul Ryan's six-pack abs

- taking his staff to a Katy Perry concert

- redecorating his D.C. office to resemble Downton Abbey

- dismissing critics with: “As Taylor Swift says, ‘Haters gonna hate’

- moving to West Hollywood after he resigned from office

- attending Coachella with a group of gay men (where he was photographed with his hands down a man’s pants while they were kissing)

- being photographed tipping a male stripper in Mexico City...

 

You know, LITTLE clues.

Uzo Aduba was at the last show, Zac Posen and Michael Kors were together at the first Brooklyn show, Brandon Maxwell was at the second brooklyn show, Andy Cohen,and some reality stars that I don't know but they had quite a few followers on ig so I guess they're known

That’s a nice surprise! Except they made the song a decade older (unless it was written in 1997 in which case I will feel quite ashamed for not knowing that).

I’ll say! They’ve pulled a complete 180! Back in her prime, Dion was a 4-letter word. But now it seems that they recognize she possesses a once-in-a-generation musical gift (even if her English canon often misses the mark). Scielle, I think you’ve mentioned before that the reason is likely because their old staff has been replaced by a newer, hipper crowd that isn’t afraid of musical irony. That, and I imagine they’ve been bought & sold a few times since the 90s...

I have no issue with it. It's fun and funky. There are plenty of others I'd put in the "worst in recent memory" bucket.

For me it screams middle schooler in the 2000s with all of the plush and the boots over leggings. I do appreciate where she was trying to go, fun and funky.

Well, I witnessed that pink one in person (hard to believe it’s been several weeks since she was a neighbor!), and have to say that up close, it looked super cute and comfy for post-show attire.
