No wonder why I don't come here anymore. I'm appalled where this forum has come to....

 

Praising this show because Celine was swearing? SERIOUSLY? like SERIOUSLY? being impressed with swearing by a person who ALWAYS avoided such rubbish language because she seemed wise and funny, down-to-earth.

 

This programme was literally about nothing. Shoes? i mean shoes? that was such a waste of time and her VOICE? when she was screaming it seemed so ruined, strained. I'm horrified. And when anyone of you tells me this was the way it was supposed to be, it was NOT. It's not that they didn't have anything to talk about: end of Vegas, new album, new song (yeah they "sang" a bit but they didn't comment on it AT ALL not even a phrase like what a cool song you recorded or whatever), new tour or EVEN a new hobby of Celine (ballet) or EVEN a thing that no one knew about from her free time but it was literally about nothing. It's such idiotic to even give a snippet of a new song if they don't want to talk about it or release it because even if people got interested, they will search the Internet and end up with nothing and they will forget about it by the time the album comes...

 

The only impressive thing was MHWGO but you barely saw her and heard her...

 

Her free time? Don’t you know she spends 99.9% of her free time not wanting to sound pretentious

Agree that they need to release the song now though- there’s no point saying ‘this is your new song’ when it’s not/her fans can’t hear it. Should have released it right before the show aired

Unless they are waiting till it airs in a few other countries as I think this is shown tonight on TV here.

 

I wonder which Xmas song they covered too for the Xmas special?!? :)

Omg it was EVERYTHING! She is such a nut, but I very fun and they had great chemistry. That new song sounded incredible! Cannot wait for it! 😍😍😍😍

I loved it! She's such a goof, so down to earth. It was hilarious watching James Corden - he couldn't believe that he'd managed to pull of Carpool Karaoke with Celine! :D

Well, it started a bit cringey, when she just couldn't stop singing. But then it was just awesooooome. Loved it!

What's appalling is people watching Carpool Karaoke and expecting it to be a boring interview where she talks for the 1000th about the same thing. I'm not a big fan of Celine's private life, but that shoe machine at her house was news to me. That story with the doctor on TV talking about the delivery of RC too.

In the end, it was exactly what I expected from the show. And it was fun.

I knew she had a potty mouth all these years that they kept hidden from us to keep her more “conservative” ! Never laughed so much it was so funny! Especially the Titanic scene hahaha!

I loved it! And it showed the crazy fun self-mockery Céline us fans all love :wub:

 

My notes:

- I expected a bit more talk (although with Céline...lol), maybe about Vegas or the new album/tour

- I think they did the 'Céline singing all time' part in the beginning on purpose

- They could've turned down the volume of the songs a bit more (or could've used instrumentals) or Céline could've sang a bit louder (though I kinda felt she was holding back)...

- The shoe part is hilarious!! Kinda felt like he was giving her kids away :sofunny:

- Her swearing... omg...

- THAT NEW SONG :wub: It indeed does sound like a Sia power ballad ('Baby'?). Really like the preview... though I hope it won't be the new single. We need an up-tempo song like FOMO!

- Coz I've been in Vegas quite a few times, you can easily tell how/where they cut stuff lol Like with the new song... they did it at least twice lol One time they're singing it whilst driving at the Forum Shops and in the next shot they're still at The Mirage (no not you Robin)... :giggle:

 

Hope we'll get more clips or an extended version later on!

 

They just NEED to release a new song THIS week. I can understand all the teasing and the hush hush, but at least give the public something.

Release a new song this week, another one around Hyde Park, another one when she launches the tour and another single when the album's released.

It's a homerun.

 

I'm also stunned by 99.99% positive comments on Youtube (et al) praising everything about her. This TV appearance is Epic for her in terms of recognition. And it reaches a large variety of target groups. Reading comments made me proud that now she encompasses ALL generations alive.

 

It is a Dionaissance indeed. And the views will be reaching one million within 24 hrs!

 

So now it's up to the TEAM if they will ride this wave now or let it fade...

 

P.S. It's great that virtually no one complain about her costume. It didn't look as bad as many of us thought when we saw the pics, and the show was so fun that we didn't focus on it lol. Plus, her RING is phenomenal.:D

Ok this was the PERFECT inteview for her, I mean she bursted into a song every 2 seconds! literally! LOL

She was like, soooo "I don't give a f*ck about everything" LOL firt time I see her say the F word! and then it goes "those *censored*" about Pepe and her team, I bet they have such a good time together, she is discovering a new wild part of her...

 

I felt tho, she didn't get some jokes and it was a pity, because they were pretty funny, like James talking aboiy instagraming hee son's birth, Celine was like -----?

 

I gotta say I like the new song!!! Can't believe James knows it by heat now!! grrrrr release the single Sony!!

it was very good !!! was getting worried also at the beginning when she didn't stop singing the answers but it was probable edited that way and all the rest was brilliant, the shoes ,the cursing ………….I thought the first single was going to be flying on my own :down: disappointed with that

That was super enjoyable. Especially those real moments we got from her. I think their personalities meshed well, Bring on the new song.

After her calling her assistants b****es, i cant get it out of my head that Her, Pepe, Syd and Dee must call each other b**** quite often in a jokey, funny way... never expecting her to ever swear or cuss at a show either.... why do i also have the feeling she didn’t realise they were gonna keep the cuss words in lol
