I think this wheel of impressions is always partly scripted, I mean come on we all know she does Cher, recently she did Rihanna and Sia, stil it was funny to watch and she looked gorgeous, no need to mention again but those legs :worthy:

And it was maybe more for Vegas promotion rather than single or french album, the main point is to keep her seen in public, on TV etc, otherwise it's not possible to promote anything in US I believe. Aldo is doing a right thing. Even though I know she doesn't like this part of her job, but the more she goes the more relaxed and comfortable she will be, I can imagine for non-fans this one was a little awkward at some point :innocent:

So I recorded the show to be able to watch it is morning as it was on too late for me. What do I get? Trump flapping his lips in from of a microphone. Sigh, talk about disappointment. Lol

I'm sorry but I agree with the youtube comments saying it was akward... What was she doing with the Yaay in the middle of everything, not looking like she wanted to do it, not letting Jimmy sing when it is his turn. She seemed weird, strange and unauthentic. It was still nice to watch and entertaining but really pretty cringeworthy at times.

Have you ever watched this show? Everyone who is on it needs to play up, exaggerate, be over-the-top. This is the format of the show, and regular viewers in the US will not be surprised. On the contrary, they would be surprised if a guest showed up in a subdued, more serious mode.

 

Yes, it may look a bit odd, but this is just Celine adapting to the show - as she adapts to other shows.

 

Time to relax :)

Adele hasn't been 'real' for years, but I guess this is a matter of perspective.

 

It's also worth considering that English is not Celine's native language, so in shows like this she is likely to be under some particular pressure to catch up with what is going on around her.

 

Don't get me wrong, I prefer Celine being more 'at ease' too, but think we shouldn't be too harsh on her and see the positives of her appearance instead of focusing on what may be a bit off.

Okay i now watched the interview segment and the show must go on. The way she reacted to that jimmy wanted to start the wheel was a bit awkward. She knew this is part of the show. She was clearly nervous for that.

The show must go on sounded okay but also not forget her voice does sound dry because she is singing in a tv studio

She looked genuinely nervous about the impressions and that made me a bit uncomfortable. But she was amazing throughout the whole thing. Sia was priceless.

Im impressed! Yes she looked nervous, but she did sooo well and Im proud of her.

 

Chandlier was amaaazing, I wanted her to keep going!!!

 

I want to see the whole show as well, the links dosnt work for me to watch in Sweden.

I just watched the performance of TSMGO and thought it was great! Nowhere near the rasp I was expecting. I loved the shorter version, I think it flowed well. She looked amazing, I loved the lighting, I didn't think one thing was out of place, it was fantastic for me!

She's trending on Facebook, Twitter, Google News, probably more. And though I'm at work and haven't had a chance to read much, from the headlines it looks like nothing but love out there for Celine today.
