It is cute! She clearly was not totally in it and nervous. But she pulled it off.

Her Cher was a good one though! And she is just adorable to watch! And i can see this is one of those things she would not have done in the past.

Aldo really pushes her to step out of of her comfortzone and that is good.

It's strange she gets through a set of 24 songs, belting, high notes, crazy...but one song and one song alone is strained. Maybe nerves with being recorded? They do the song before the interview usually, so I don't think the speaking and impressions were first. Definitely felt a little awkward also when she was singing on top of Jimmy during impressions. "You aren't gonna blow me away are you?" Haha, ah well, love her either way.

 

Because then she had a proper warm up and her voice is more capable of doing loads of different stuff. Plus a hard song like TSMGO is at the end of the concert, when her vocal cords are totally warmed up. This is one song in a tv studio, with no prior singing, so the vocal cords are not as flexible as it would be in concert.

Haha that celebrity wheel was SO AWKWARD! She seemed totally nervous doing it and kind of just not into it. She kept doing that MJ impression over and over while Jimmy was trying to do his. It was just really weird and I think she came across as neurotic and not quite right in the head. We're used to her acting like that, but the general public doesn't really see that side of her that much so as you can see from the comments, people were a little weirded out more than anything. The dress was absolutely STUNNING though, holy crap she looked AMAZING!

Anyway she looks STUNNING! Normally she doesn't change clothes for singing a song on a show like this, but with the guy Law, and the amazing press.

She looks HOT.

 

Only tiny complaint, Celine... don't put your hair behind your eyes!

It looked sexier in the dress earlier that day!

I thought the performance was great! Yes a little rough near the end but it suits the song perfectly....

 

She looked stunning in both outfits.... Loved the impressions....

Hmmz.. not a big fan of TSMGO in such a small setting.. this song needs to be big, otherwise it's not really working. Not a bad performance though.

But I think the song had it's moment. You can not top the BMA's, to me that song is a gift to the fans and not a single that needs to be charts topping... especially because the studio version is to mediocre and in too much contrast with the Beethoven live version. Promoting and performing it all over again feels a bit useless. I expected the song on the Today Concert but not at Jimmy Fallon. The setting was to small and intimate for trying to bring the song so big.

 

It would have bin unique and special if they'd dare to do EUS, it would have showed a different part of her and an honesty that would have been nice after the BMA attention.

 

Btw.. ever since Taking Chances their is something about her not being in shape our warmed up to impress with her vocals during TV performances

Wow, Celine's performance in general in absolutely stunning. Though, talking about the vocals, it's the raspiest and the shakiest version of TSMGO since August 2015. Probably Celine was too nervous or her vocal cords lacked a proper warm up. The raspiness doesn't actually ruin the song, on the contrary it gives it some kind of a charming emotional sounding. But hearing so much rasp coming out of Celine makes me worry a lot for her...

So sad! I DVR'd the show, got up this morning to watch it, and realized that apparently the Republican convention ran late and then our local news broadcast came after that during the Tonight Show's time slot. All it recorded of the show was about the first 10 minutes.
