Oh no I depended on Nordstrom to order my Celine bags cos they’re the only store that ships worldwide, and two of the bags I was after are now half price on this nordstrom rack site and they don’t ship internationally apparently. Bummed!! WHEN WILL HER BAGS BE LAUNCHED IN THE UK???!!!!

A little randomness, but had to share. Last night during Celine's show she told us all to take a chance at luck and even if only $5, we should pull a slot machine or something after the show. She says "You can't win if you don't play!" I don't drink...I don't gamble...I come to Vegas for Celine - but ok Celine, if you say so! lol So before heading back to the car after the show last night I popped a $20 into a slot machine that looked fun. Ten minutes later I was $130 richer. Cashed out real quick and now, I will be turning around and using this money to fund a new Celine purse that's been on my wish list! Certainly sounds like a justified reason to splurge, right!? Celine is after all the one who told us to go give it a shot. Thanks Celine!

i saw a Celine purse at 50% in a semi high-end shoe store near home, ii was sad. Celine should not give her stuff like that. Imagine Celine selling her collection herself.

I don't know if anyone is aware of this yet or not, but the Celine Dion Collection is being phased out at Nordstrom. That makes me very sad, because I am completely addicted to this collection and was very much looking forward to future releases. I don't know what this means for the future of Celine's brand and if it will eventually be completely cancelled? Here is what I've been told though.

 

The lady at Nordstrom told me that her collection wasn't selling well and that it was very hit or miss. I found that really strange, because I thought her collection was massively successful and had high sales but whatever? I don't know if it's being phased out everywhere, but I know that it's at least being phased out at the Nordstrom stores in Canada. I don't know if that includes the U.S. Nordstrom though?

 

It also appears as though her collection isn't doing very well at Browns or Melanie Lyne either, so it might get phased out there as well. I know that some Browns stores aren't even selling her collection and the ones that are aren't even getting any new orders coming in. So sad.

 

 

I was looking forward to a shoe and clothing line and possibly beauty products as well, but I'm having pretty low hopes for that to happen now given this news. Celine's Nordstrom collection will still be available online, so it looks like online might be the future of this collection if it continues I guess.

It’s kinda weird she hasn’t done more promo for it.... Even with all the “style” pics we got while she’s on tour, she could’ve easily used her own bags, etc. to give the Collection more exposure. It’s like she was only active with its conception and production and initial promo and that was it.. I’d bet everything changed when Aldo left..

That's too bad, I really liked the idea and the purses. I was wondering what was up as everything was marked down on the Nordstrom site and a lot went to the Rack and they haven't added anything new in a long while. I thought it was strange she didn't do any more promo after the initial time.

I'm sad to bring up the Kardashians haha but look at Kylie Jenner. She had her make up line and it's doing really well and she's constantly promoting it (too much IMO). Célines FB, Twitter and IG could do a LOT better but they NEVER post anything.

 

I'm sad if it's going downhill but they have nobody to blame except themselves

 

 

btw I know I can't compare Kylie to Céline haha but just saying, you need to do the work to be successful.

The Official Celine Collection posted this photo on IG today tagged with the details of the bag - it says it's coming soon...part of the Fall/Winter '18 collection. So at least we know MORE is to come. Not sure that Nordstrom will pick anything up online or if they're phasing her out completely. Time will tell, but at least it's not all gone for good. Hopefully at least some access for me here in the US. I will have to rely more on bfashionbags.com I suppose. I enjoyed Nordstrom's occasional sales though.
