It is bad news that she is performing 4th. It's not in the beginning, not in the middle, not in the end... Just somewhere between.

 

she should have been the 5th one :innocent:

I have to admit that after listinging to that version more than several times i realized that we really made a very big deal out of it ,and that its a good thing since that we have been critisizing celine so much for not singing her songs in new arrangements,and now after she did we are still not happy,the other thing is that we have already the vegas version and she wanted to make something new ,also it makes sence after listening to it alot that its more emotional because we know what the song means for her now ,i really like the beginning that its slow and touching ,it's just that we got used to the other version,right now i really feel that it was meant to feel slow and emotional,and about the scream it is really sung from the guts ,its like shes really getting all the sadness out of her ,its not out of tune or anything,they are not so stupid to approve it as a single unless its ok Edited by artistman2007

People acting like it's the first time Celine is gonna sing with a violinist. Anyone remember Jean Sebastien Carré and Taro Hakase :whistling1:

I do not agree with that at all. Did you see the way he gushed in the making of "Incredible"? He's a fan for sure, and holds a lot of respect for Celine.

Some people have short memories. I remember when he did his first collab with Celine. I've got nothing left, and he went on a radio show laughing and bragging to his "bros" saying that he will make a ton of cash with this. There was no adulation at all for Celine. And remember the big hoop-la it caused here on the forum, Some people were saying that Rene should be made aware about his arritude and should cancel the contract and forget about Ne-yo. And another radio show he did after Incredible came out, He refused to talk about Celine until they brought it up and he came across as embarrassed to talk about her. And gushing?? Anyone can fake when a camera is rolling, it's not that hard to do.

 

He's saying that based on the genre of music Lindsay is in, the younger people who follow her may be more prone to follow people like Celine if they don't already. This was a good move. She's well known enough to not be over the top, but not too well known, as to where it may look desperate.

with the ending last week, could very well happen... :giggle: mother of dragons was hot as hell last week.

are we sure about that ?i dont know ,but thats what i felt ,its not that bad as i said ,we got used to the otherone thats all ,also now we know why she was singing all her songs the same way for a 30 years,as they were afraid to change for what happened from the fans when she did change

Celine is an Icon but for different reasons IMO. For example:

 

- Sales of over 230m records worldwide

- Influence on new singers

- Changing the entertainment scene of Las Vegas

- Passing francophone music into every major market worldwide

- Her enduring voice and professionalism

 

I was expecting more of this in the article above and I hope these facts are mentioned before she accepts her award!...
