And this, I think, encapsulates why Celine's staying in Vegas.

There's no way RC could do something like this in Montreal and have it only pop up on the net a month later. Quebec tabloids would follow his every move, he (and Celine, and the twins) would be on tabloid front pages every time he goes out for lunch. Whereas in Vegas he can be more-or-less a normal teenager; he can do stuff like this, he can play hockey and have Celine show up regularly at local rinks... basically they can have some semblance of a normal life without being followed everywhere by paparazzi.

I couldn't agree more. I believe that, to Celine, Vegas is much more than a place to work. It's a place where she and her children can have as much as a normal life as possible. RC can try to be as much as a common teen as possible. The twins can grow up going out as non famous kids do. All we have to do is observe what happens when she goes on tour. People follow her and the children everywhere. They don't have a minute of peace. Photos, autographs, interviews I mean come on! I know that all this comes with fame, but these boys are seven years old. When she was in Paris she gave an interview saying that normally when she leaves, the boys shout goodbye to her until they dont see her or the car anymore. They wanted to do the same in Paris, going to the balcony of the hotel. She laughed and told them , you cant do that here. The streets are always full of people waiting for her. I mean its great that people love her,but I get why Vegas has become a home to her.

Makes me wonder if she wants to renew her contract in Vegas. Since she's is going to live there for many years to come, if the rumors about the new house are true. Maybe she just wants to live there for a good live for her sons and not to perform?? Just wondering.

 

Also she has said the loves warm weather, she doesn't like the cold. So Montréal is out of the question.

In fairness between the ages of 13 and 14 he did watch his dad slowly and painfully die which would have been a very difficult experience. Not quite the same hardships he describes in his song, but hard none the less.

It’s true! But I also wonder why it’s like this in Vegas. It’s kind of funny, because she is the hottest act there and the media don’t seem to care that much to follow her. I wonder why.

True.

I had the same kind of snickering reaction when someone else posted earlier on here something along the lines of "What's he gonna rap about? The hard life of growing up in a mansion and flying in private jets?"

But you're right, that couldn't have been easy. Compounded by the fact that, being home-schooled and not having parents who work 9-5, he spent a lot more of his childhood with them both than most kids do, so must have been very close to his dad.

And same goes for dealing with grief under the intense media microscope that followed - that must be unbelievably difficult on anyone, much less a kid who's barely 15. I remember watching that eulogy and thinking "wow, I'm twice his age and there's no way I could go up there in front of all these people and do what he just did".

 

What he's doing is certainly not my cup of tea, but if this is his way of "acting out" - channeling it into something creative - then I think Celine should be glad. With his means, there are a lot of self-destructive things he could be doing instead... Plus I think it's super brave for him to release it, or go out there and freestyle on the street, knowing what kind of scrutiny he'd be under.

 

Didn't Celine say in some interview, when he was little, that whenever he was upset of having a temper tantrum she'd always insist on him talking it out or putting it on paper? Well, seems to have worked.

Of course he didn’t grow up in the Ghetto and of course he makes Some things bigger but it doesn’t mean he has Some

Issues i mean it’s not always easy to be a teenager

He Was also not easy when he was younger i remember a interview that Celine Said about his long hair it was like a wall he put all his hair in the front of his face so he didn’t have to make contact with people

 

And i understand bc i knew someone who did it also he didn’t talk the whole evening he was sitting on the couch we never saw his face lol

I am very confused, because there is a new video on instagram that shows, what appears to be RC smoking a cigarette while on the floor rapping to a song. RC's friends and RC himself are supposedly saying it's not RC in the video. They say it's there friend who looks exactly like RC and his name is Alberto Homes? I've currently never been more confused, because it looks identical to RC and I'm usually extremely good at recognizing faces.
