artistman2007 Posted January 22, 2016 at 02:42 AM Posted January 22, 2016 at 02:42 AM The actual funeral service and presumably afterwards the burial and unlike today everyone will be there including the twins which will be super heartbreaking oh my god I though it was over ,I just wanted her to rest , that was too much Quote
Kristinaz Posted January 22, 2016 at 02:44 AM Posted January 22, 2016 at 02:44 AM oh my god I though it was over ,I just wanted her to rest , that was too much I know! I'm already so exhausted and I'm just watching I can't imagine how Celine feels. Tomorrow is the funeral/burial and Saturday will be her brother's "wake" and then a few days later will be his funeral/burial and then the thing at Caesars on the 3rd! 2 Quote
rhapsodion Posted January 22, 2016 at 02:46 AM Posted January 22, 2016 at 02:46 AM Whenever she sees someone she knows, she tends to cry. As someone says, it would be a nice way to release her emotion, and she probably is touched by the fact that these friends she knows are lining up in the cold to pay the respect. Always difficult, but also touching seeing those moments. 1 Quote
Koolan Posted January 22, 2016 at 02:51 AM Posted January 22, 2016 at 02:51 AM It was a honor celebrating René and being there for a Céline and his children together with you all. Let's do it one final time tommorow?Definitely not the kind of viewing party I like attending here... but I'm so thankful that we could share it together. Tomorrow is going to be tough, bien sur. Sending Céline so much love and support right now. Have a good night everyone!Tomorrow will be very difficult. Need to get the box of tissues ready, but glad to have the forum to watch and share our thoughts. Goodnight all.Likewise. Glad to have everyone's company here. 7 Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Click here to go to the Amazon homepage.
Xpresso Posted January 22, 2016 at 02:51 AM Posted January 22, 2016 at 02:51 AM I watched some of it and it was so heartbreaking. But at the same time, as a fan I'm also wondering why is there a live feed for all to see René's body? I feel a bit uncomfortable that everyone could just watch... It's very courageous of her and I have respect for her... We know what René and Céline mean to us and to the people of Quebec. But there are also many rude people who think this is done for the wrong reasons obviously! I'm confused I guess and sad... 4 Quote

beelee Posted January 22, 2016 at 03:10 AM Posted January 22, 2016 at 03:10 AM I don't know how to explain it, but I felt the need to buy a few Celine CDs. I ordered some online and bought one in store today. I guess it's kind of silly, but it's my way of paying tribute to René. 5 Quote

beelee Posted January 22, 2016 at 03:22 AM Posted January 22, 2016 at 03:22 AM I'm sad I will miss the live stream of the funeral tomorrow. I will actually be on my way to Montreal tomorrow afternoon for a pre-planned trip. Not planned to coincide with the funeral, but I will miss it since I will arrive in the evening. Does anyone know if there will be anything happening tomorrow night? Maybe a gathering of fans at the church? Quote

Everything he did, everything he didn't do, everything we wanted to do together . . ." No words. Such a beautiful love. Quote
chocolatechip15 Posted January 22, 2016 at 03:55 AM Posted January 22, 2016 at 03:55 AM "devoted love until we die..." I've wondered if that line was why she wasn't singing TCOML lately. I could see her singing it but changing the words to "devoted love forevermore" or something like that. Quote
Popular Post JP Posted January 22, 2016 at 04:12 AM Popular Post Posted January 22, 2016 at 04:12 AM JP was the last forum member I saw.It was JP that I saw. Good to see him there paying his respects. He did us proud. It's so nice to see that you haven't forgot about me after all these years. It was so hard to see her like that. She's suffering from much. But at the same time, I really felt she needed every single words from everybody. We always say how much she love her fans, but tonight was beyond anything I ever felt. I told her: You offered us the greatest and most beautiful love story. We'll never forget about your husband. I am here today because for me, you and you're family are also my family (She started crying there...) I also told her to take really care of herself. And that I love her. She had one arm on me and the other one in the casket. It was just so hard to live this moment. I have been invited by my boss, who's a famous interviewer here in Montreal to assist the funerals tomorrow. I'll make you proud again. 31 Quote http://static-illicoweb.videotron.com/illicoweb/static/webtv/images/content/player/TVA_Celine_Dion_Sans_Attendre_Vf_WT_Poster.jpg

I'm sad I missed the live stream...had too many other things going on with work, the winter storm, & picking my parents up at the airport.
