The actual funeral service and presumably afterwards the burial and unlike today everyone will be there including the twins which will be super heartbreaking

I know! I'm already so exhausted and I'm just watching I can't imagine how Celine feels. Tomorrow is the funeral/burial and Saturday will be her brother's "wake" and then a few days later will be his funeral/burial and then the thing at Caesars on the 3rd!

Whenever she sees someone she knows, she tends to cry. As someone says, it would be a nice way to release her emotion, and she probably is touched by the fact that these friends she knows are lining up in the cold to pay the respect. Always difficult, but also touching seeing those moments.

I watched some of it and it was so heartbreaking. But at the same time, as a fan I'm also wondering why is there a live feed for all to see René's body? I feel a bit uncomfortable that everyone could just watch...

It's very courageous of her and I have respect for her... We know what René and Céline mean to us and to the people of Quebec. But there are also many rude people who think this is done for the wrong reasons obviously! I'm confused I guess and sad...

I will actually be on my way to Montreal tomorrow afternoon for a pre-planned trip. Not planned to coincide with the funeral, but I will miss it since I will arrive in the evening.

 

Does anyone know if there will be anything happening tomorrow night? Maybe a gathering of fans at the church?

Thank you for this! I'm sad I missed the live stream...had too many other things going on with work, the winter storm, & picking my parents up at the airport.

 

However tomorrow will be a snow/ice day so I'm hoping to catch part of the funeral. I still can't believe all if this!!

It was thousand of people. Celine arrived there at 9 am and stayed the whole time. It was suppose to end at 9pm but they kept it open until 11pm because Celine wanted to give the chance to everybody to pay their respects.
