Am I the only one who is starting to notice how obvious the lipped "big note" in "All By Myself" is becoming? It almost reminds me how obvious the lipping in "The Power Of Love" was until Celine recorded a new backing track for the song.

her voice has been cracking a lot ever since that AMA performance. Her sinatra and buble specials participation were great but the AMAs and now this, not good really...

The ending note of TSMGO is with echo... Then when she says Thank You, Good Night...the sound still in echo... Does this mean she actually sing the ending note live with the mic ON with echo?

You can watch videos of Celine singing Hello on the iconosquare instagram site. There are a few videos of her singing the song on there.

 

It's not bad, but I like Adele's version better. I think Celine should stop singing Adele's songs. I know she likes Adele and everything, but Adele is Adele and Celine is Celine. Plus, they already call Adele the "Cool Celine". Celine shouldn't give people material to pick on. Adele is really popular right now, so to cover one or many of her songs makes anyone a target to pick apart, even if you are Celine Dion.

 

I'm not saying Celine didn't do a good job, because she did. She hit all the notes and everything, but I would just prefer if she went back to singing her own famous material. I don't want to hear her sing a song that I automatically compare to another singer.

I'm sorry to say, but this time I prefer Adele's version much more. I don't like the way Celine sounds...Maybe if she does it again, it will be different. With Rolling in the deep it was totally the opposite ;-) I loved it!

 

But she said it was just for fun, so...as long as she's happy ;-)

Now that I hear the whole video it's kind of sweet. I like how she changes it at the end and makes it like she's saying hello and thank you to the fans. It's also sweet how she cares about Adele so much that she wanted to make her a part of her New Years Eve show, but I hope she doesn't continue down the road of singing Adele's songs all the time.

Well I liked it. It was just a little surprise thing from Celine. I like the fact she didn't do the whole song, like the way she introduced it, and the way she ended it singing happy new year etc. I love Celine doing stuff like this. It's when some random song ends up in the shows , without bringing anything extra to the show, when one of her own songs would be better.

I enjoyed this, yep even though it's Adele's song, which actually surprised me! Hello is starting to get on my threepennies! 😂

I'm so happy that she still has that voice. Previously in AMA, her voice was not in a top shape and i'm quite dissapointed that i thought she already lost her voice. But now she still hits the note effortlessly and that always happened when she sings Adele's song. And for anyone who says she should stop singing covers. As for me... That's normal. It's like all her fans that always sing celine's song in Karaoke... We will always wanted to sing celine's song...and that happens to Celine... she wants to sing the song that she loves from the singer that she likes. And plus... She adds "just for fun okay" at the beginning of the song. So just enjoy it...

Don't get me wrong, I really think she did a great job and, of course, I prefer Celine's version ( I can't stand listening to Adele's version, Celine's version is much "warmer"). But I'm fed up with Celine doing Adele, Celine doing covers, Celine cutting her OWN songs (cause probably it was sung instead of Incredible, right?).

 

And the saddest thing is that if Celine had recorded and released that song as a single, it would be a flop

I am really annoyed that Celine has covered yet another Adele song, especially as this doesn't sound half as good as her cover of RITD. Please stick to your own material!!

Not good..the magic is gone. The long notes need to be longer and the piano only version fails and she was not on pitch with the piano the whole time. The hello from the other side needs to be much longer.

 

WHY CELINE?

What is it that you want to prove..is is really needed to sing a relevant Adele's hitsong so people can bash on youtube. Is it really needed to show you can reach those high notes as well? You better had sung one of your own masterpieces

 

Aldo is this your decision? Bad decision..very bad. She should stop doing other people's songs. It sounds desperate. Celine one of the biggest female singers in the world is starting to cover hitsongs by Adele. And it did not sound good at all. Stay away from those songs and use her own repertoire instead!

I am afraid that she is going to massacred by the media. I know she loves Adele and all but She doesn't need Adele. Adele never really acknowledges Celine lately and to me it seems the admiration is not mutual so... My 2 cents... however I love that she threw in a surprise for us and I enjoyed it, just don't think it should become a permanent part of the show. Maybe this is a big hint that she wants to record with her though.
