"Celine" The Revamped Show

When (and if) they film the show- I'd love for them to do an All Access style DVD like they did for AND. I'd love to see the inner workings backstage during the show. Like they could show the chandelier (up above the stage) coming down for the Prince Medley, and like the waterfall- but they could put a flying camera to show it coming down at first. I think it'd be neat.

I LOVE the All Access part of the AND DVD, especially the getting ready for the show part, sound check, etc. Would love to have a similar bonus feature on the Céline DVD if/when it's released.

The special features on the "A New Day..." DVD were great. However, I do wish they would have included footage from numbers that never saw the light of Opening Night (i.e. "Love Is All We Need" and "A New Day Has Come (Radio Remix)"), or songs that were eventually phased out during the show's evolution (i.e. "Fever," "Have You Ever Been In Love" and "Et je t'aime encore").

I knew about LIAWN but ANDHC remix? really? don't remember that...

It's not only AND dvd but each Celine release misses sth : from AND we miss tons of songs (apart from what SuperLove wrote, I wish we could have Can't help falling in love, AL,, AA in full, Aria sth, NB, ISSW etc.), from TC tour we miss ANDHC (!), CFTF, IYA, AWTBI, TT and also numerous songs that were sung one night only, from Une seule fois : I mainly bear grudge that they omitted Immensite (!) and JNVOP (!) because they could have easily put them AT LEAST on cd as the second one is shorter and, of course, we could have got all extra Bercy shows on dvd as well.

What I mean is that we get a lot of extra stuff from behind the scenes and private life during a tour/show but what would be equally important and interesting (or even more) would be the special songs. And not parts of it as we got some on dvd from the tour but full performances. These special songs just make the whole thing more interesting as for most of the time the setlist remains the same but these unique songs that nobody expects or that kills the show would make our jaw drop but instead we forgot that they were even performed just this once

Couldn't agree more! If, and when (although we all know it's when - lol) the show is filmed and released I hope we get bonus features and especially that part of it are the songs that have been performed but aren't part of the show when it's filmed. Such as Jackson medley, Bond medley, Open Arms etc.

This was the one thing AND dvd missed,and TCWT dvd. Was really hoping the longer version of TTEOTW dvd would include a few but nope 😢

I don't mind the show the way it is. Sure we can all nitpick some changes we'd like to see, myself included. However, this show, in comparison to the last show, does a much much better job at satisfying not only the vegas audience but the true fans as well.

But what I am actually really excited and looking for is the inevitable le satellite vegas performances that are going to come!! Literally there is not an option they could choose for a satellite performance that would disappoint (except bylm). Lol.

yes that's why i still want the original blonde dvd.....

I LOVE the All Access part of the AND DVD, especially the getting ready for the show part, sound check, etc. Would love to have a similar bonus feature on the Céline DVD if/when it's released.

yes totally!! only one thing they didn't do that much was about the dancers, maybe they did interviewed them but didn't make the cut or so, and they didn't even interview Mia Michaels about the choreography?? that's just weird ....... anyway this should belong to AND dvd....

I think they should have another tv special like they did for 3 boys and a new show, this time should be from the time Celine / Rene found out about Rene's cancer til the return of Celine!! i can say that i would not be able to watch through it without getting emotional...

I met an Angel on Xtmas Day - I can see her preforming this song in place of River deep Mountain high, right after love can love mountains

I think with some tweaking to the above proposed setlist, a Christmas show could do smashingly well in Las Vegas. At the end of the show, fake snow could fall from the ceiling. It would be an amazing moment. Of course some of her biggies would have to stay:

"Because You Loved Me"
"The Power Of Love"
"My Heart Will Go On"

However, I think a song like "These Are The Special Times" could work well with the video montage that is already in place. And the family montage could go well with "Don't Save It All For Christmas Day." And then the acoustic medley could keep "A New Day Has Come," but then segue into "The Magic Of Christmas Day (God Bless Us Everyone)" and "Another Year Has Gone By." "The Prayer" could make a comeback and actually fit in with the theme of the show. Plus, if Barnev has to have his moment, "I'm Your Angel" could be added, too.

The show could totally get re-branded and promoted differently during the holidays. It could be something extra special to look forward to at the end of the year instead of it being "just another show" (if you catch my drift).
