I redid mine with the red balloons and the sign with my name. I think it turned out really well. Hope they don't mind I uploaded twice!

Think that would depend on how many they actually use in the show. There could be as little as 5 or loads like 30. We shan't know until opening night! And then they may change the video after a while. Who knows? 😊

I hope they will not only choose professional videos. Of course, it's awesome that some people are able to do such great videos but less professional videos are valuable too!

Yeah trust me, mine was not professional. I had to shoot it on a tripod and I have no editing equipment. Some of the ones they are showing look edited.

All I can say is, I never thought I'd do anything of the sort in my life. Certainly not sober! But there I was, on a Saturday afternoon, in the busiest part of my city, trying my best to look at ease, raving to Céline by myself! I almost couldn't bring myself to do it but I would have been kicking myself forever if I hadn't... So, a deep breath (or ten) and then it was over! And of course, it took several takes so it wasn't as straightforward in my head as I'd planned! Don't even want to think about the film not being selected after so much fear and anxiety had to be overcome! Hahaha!

 

However, it really is amazing just what you can get away with! A few funny looks and curious glances but then people were on there way... I think they were more embarrassed than me! Also, the ability to zone out when it matters surprised me too!

 

In hindsight, I think I quite enjoyed it! I even want to do it again! The video would be 100% better if I'd not been so self-conscious...

Maybe I'm a secret exhibitionist! :-)

Yeah I know what you mean. You start out very timid but by the end, you're like, I could do this again! You realize people really don't pay much attention to you.

Maybe they'll use them all?

Same with me. Something came up and it didn't work out.

 

Sherri don't worry about using a tripod. That's what I was going to be using had it all worked out.
