I feel the same way. I don't understand how this is in any way, shape or form disappointing news. My God...when has Celine EVER been THIS interactive and personable with her fans at her shows? THIS is one of the last missing pieces that has stopped her shows from being 100% perfect, in my opinion. Now, she just needs to open up more instead of relying so heavily on scripts and the same songs night after night. Yes, this project will probably be cheesy, but my God, this will be a GOOD type of cheese! Plus, think about this...the more people that do this, the more they can swap out video clips after a month or so. It will allow the intro video to be new and fresh from month to month. Also, if this does well with "I Drove All Night," I could see them doing the same for other songs.

I like cheese :laugh:

 

I don't understand some of the disappointment. I think it's wonderful! Yall really didn't expect an album, much less 2 of them..... with all that's happening??

I Drove All Night as an opening worked well for the Taking Chances tour, but in Vegas she only lives around the block. They should use Only One Road instead!

So, I just realized something. What do you all want to bet that the reason this is happening is because of Richard Dunn's "All By Myself" airport video? The amount of exposure that video got was insane! I bet that is where Celine and her team got the "I Drove All Night" idea from.

It says you have to do it in front of a landmark in the area where you live. I'm just gonna go sing outside Celine's house now... ;-)

Wellllll... I didn't expect an album I didn't think, but at least we've got some interactivity! I don't think I'm doing a video though. :P

 

Edit: I put my email in and I didn't get an email.... Maybe I put it in after the email was sent out. :P

 

And maybe she's doing something in the studio, for the good? Maybe it's just a rehearsal too. But at least it's a neat thing and her team is getting good!

It's more likely to be used with celine then if it's the live track. If it was separate they could have used the album version.

I think that by saying that she is rehearsing, she was recording some new playbacks for the show. Why else would she be in a recording studio? She could have rehearsed elsewhere with her band (like in 3 boys and a new show). It's a shame that there will be no new album though. I wonder where those rumours about the new albums came from. I think I know where they got the idea, lol, but it's really neat they are doing this. I just wish that I had any kind of landmark in my small town... it kind of excludes those of us that don't live in a well known city. But I'll try! 😊

I was in absolute stitches from laughing when I read the email. Especially after seeing all the excitement going on in the thread. I personally think it's a fun way to incorporate fans into the show.

I think its a great idea! I guess they're going with the same theme - starting the show by recognizing that Celine's fans come from around the world - but with a fresh, new interactive idea. I guess the idea is that fans from all these places drove all night to be at Celine's show. Very cute & cheesy in a good way, as someone said earlier.

I have a lot of pretty nature backgrounds I could use. Lots of cornfields, lol. I'll see what I can come up with.

Not sure but when you download the song it only gives you a portion of it so I guess just a snippet?

Weren't there red balloons at some point during the Une Seule Fois concert? Around Le Miracle?
