Just watched the video. I love how she says the word "montage" -- so French! So sweet and sincere, as always, but she looks pretty tired. I guess that's to be expected.

I Drove All Night as an opening worked well for the Taking Chances tour, but in Vegas she only lives around the block. They should use Only One Road instead!

I imagine that the idea is that Celine's fans drove all night to be with her in Vegas. I think that's why they want famous landmarks in the background-- so you can see how far people came from.

I love how she says montage too! Very French! She probably very tired-- and she prob shot this on an off day of Rene's treatments... Probably literally "squeezed" it in to her schedule to rehearse, unless she filmed this before she left for Boston. But it doesn't look like palms... Sooooo :hmm: don't know!

i thought the exact opposite. I thought Celine looked fresh and young. It looks like she almost has know makeup on, yet she looks fresh, youthful and glowing.

How do you record it? Like, I'm not crap with technology or anything- but if you're in front of Big Ben or out in a field, you're supposed to have the song playing over speakers and someone recording it as your singing or miming? Edited June 27, 2015 at 08:13 AM by stevo

Stevo, I think standing in front of the titanic quarter showing the building and the sea behind on a nice day would be amazing and would stand a great chance of being included. Do selfie sticks let you film as well as taking pics for those who want to do this and film themselves?

I think the best and easiest way is to download the song and mime to it using ur mobile or a Bluetooth speaker.

I believe she went to the studio to record the songs for vegas playback... She will sing more of her song but she cant sing it all live...like what she did for The Reason and Where does My Heart Beat Now where she lipped it...

I hadn't been online the past couple days and today a friend of mine informed me about the news of this video and I was both surprised and excited. Came here to share my excitement with you, I read the comments and it was such a huge turn-off.

Get some perspective, in my opinion: They are actually trying to do something different for a change, while we ALL KNOW that Celine could easily go back on stage, do nothing creative, and still be hailed as a queen! And those of you who got disappointed by the fact that she is not recording new music, I should simply state that YOU brought this to yourselves. I hope you get over it soon.

The song listed is a shortened and edited version of the song, which appears to be from the A new day... DVD.

I would love some London fans to do this on the small hill to the side of tower bridge as it looks amazing on film, with the Thames and Tower of London in the background to.

I agree with you for the part of the video and the comments! For the part of the expectation of a new album... well... you know I'm a fan and I'm always searching for new stuff, so when I heard about the rumors I got the excitement of the moment... but after reading the email, I get over it after 2 minutes, cause thinking about it, for the moment it's really hard that she does a new album, we should thank that she started to come back in public and to the LV shows. And it's better she records new stuff when she is ready and not forced!

The only thing I have to say is that the photo in a recording studio and the word "surprise" was a little too much ambiguous! But it's ok... the expectation of the news was fun!!!

I have the feeling this introvideo is just like the Taking Chances Tour montage before the show starts, and then she can still sing any song, it does not need to be i drove all night, it can still be another song.. we have to wait and see!

It'll surely only be fans who film in front of world famous landmarks that get selected. I have many landmarks in my local city for example but none that the average member of the public would be aware of so it'll probably be videos that are filmed in front of well known things.

I'd have thought you'd have to do the entire clip. That way they can edit everyone together easier.

Well, the whole idea is really good but it's just not for everyone.... For instance

1) if you are shy and don't want to fool around in front of camera it's not for you

2) if you don't have any special landmark in your area you will be probably excluded

3) if you don't have a good quality camera you won't shoot anything nice

4) if you don't have anyone to help you out with it, it will really difficult to shoot anything outside...

Of course, you'll say not everybody has to take part in it, but I just think that that not everybody is simply able to do it. Doing a whole video of the song with a landmark behind is different from short clip of 10 seconds, shooting at home in front of the computer or just taking a photo or something. I don't want to be rude but sometimes it's easy to say that something like is EASY, it's really not true!

They said something about mosaic of videos so I presume that they will use various videos at once on the screen and then the final shot with everyone with the balloons.

Aren't the screens on the sides of the stage outside the curtain at the start of the show pretty much multiple screens? Maybe one video per screen to make the mosaic? :hmm:

I just submitted a video of me in front of the Lincoln Memorial here in Washington, DC. Hopefully they'll use it. It was a bit embarrassing to be standing there with so many tourists/tour groups while I was awkwardly dancing and lip syncing. I had my husband record me on his ipad and had the music playing on the iphone. If nothing else, it was a fun/goofy way to spend a Sunday morning :-) I guess we'll find out who makes the cut on 27 August..
