For those who haven't seen yet:

Her pain not be able to talk about the love of her life (October 1992). It's heartbreaking seeing her at 00:02:54.

Apropos: The lady who interviewed her is Lise Payette, who wrote "Je cherche l'ombre" for "D'Elles".

And the moment when the secret love became official, November 8, 1993: (00:02:22)

I would like to know what she exactly said too! I mean, I normally understand french, but I don't know why I can't understand Celine! Never ahahaha! :giggle: Maybe it's because she's Canadian...

The only thing I know is that she said she found the love of her life but she couldn't stay with him 'cause that would have been dangerous for her career.

If anybody have the script of that interview at least, I can try to translate it better.

Oh, she was sick. I've always asked myself why she did that interview. She should have stayed in bed! But that's our girl: "The show must go on ..."

Ever seen this? Recording-Session of "I knew I loved you". Oh God, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that song. It's like a precious flower, every note, every breath of her shines like a diamond.

They are talking about love (she shouted René name), career and sacrifices, training, family...and flu! :giggle:

I can't understand every word: I already said Celine's french is hard for me!

That she is sicks of comparaisons. Sick of the medias. She likes Whitney, Mariah and Celine but if she talks about it, then everybody will say she copy their music.

She also said she once wrote a letter to Celine, Celine never wrote back but she knew she read it.

Thank you JP!

Apropos: Celine rocks! We all know! But Lady Gaga does too! Cool avatar and signature.

I wish Celine would have stay this singer forever. I means, the kind of singer who sings the song the way she feel it this day, the adlib in the lyrics at the end, instead of the big note is flawless!

I've always said that her best vocals were made during 1993-1996, and that video is another proof of it. I think she enjoyed what she sang as the first day she sang in front of her family.

Not trying to mean that she doesn't enjoy what she sings today, but its different now. Of course, she hadn't harped on TPOL, BYLM, IACBTMN and MHWGO yet  :P

Here's when she still felt what she sang in The Power Of Love. Listen closely to the amazing variations she does in this performance at the show Dimanche Martin (1994) :in_love: :in_love: :in_love:

An extremely rare (i think) audio with Celine rehears the song "The power of love" for the Junos Awards at 1994! In my opinion she sang it better at the rehearsal than the Awards night live!
