it's my favourite song of Celine actually...

Tournée Européenne in Paris (December 1, 2013)

Céline Dion Live 2016 in Antwerp (June 20, 2016)

Céline Dion Live 2017 in Birmingham (July 27, 2017)

Céline Dion à Paris (September 12, 2026)

Have you guys heard these before?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPRMDcQCf3Q

''I'm Alive'' is pretty good (except for the mistakes in the lyrics), but ''All By Myself'' is booooring. ''The Power of Love'' is ok, but nobody's version comes close to Celine's (not even Jenifer Rush's version).

Edit: Here is another one:

Did they record like a whole album with all her songs or what?

I hope Im not gonna get in trouble for making double posts. But I miss Celine, so I'm playing around on YouTube.

Here is a video of ''Myt Love in Copenhagen:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgl_FcaxKm0

She did the best versions of this song in the European leg.

The quality of this video is not that great, but I thought it was pretty funny:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7T10uhCLLS0

 When she says cakes, she means like cupcakes right? There is no way she ate like six big cakes right? :sofunny:

Why are these moments not on the DVD?

Does anyone have the A New Day Has Come TV SPECIAL video?? especially the opening number where she sings and then talks to the audience...?? k thankss ^_^

Congratulations, Celine, Rene, and RC on the TWINS!!!!! <3 <3 <3

"I looked in the audience. There were no strangers. Everybody was singing and cheering and hugging. That was a beautiful picture to look at."

"I want to be more successful as a mother than I am in show business."

"I don't listen to my own music at home."

"On her baby: He's 16 months old and he eats soap and paper. What's going on with kids?"

"On her son again: I smell his feet; they have a scent that's a bit like vinegar."

"As long as my fans enjoy my music and I'm happy in myself, my life and my music, that's all the truly concerns me."

"I am the youngest of 14 children, so I rarely got a chance to speak. If I have an opportunity for talking, I talk."

"So far so good. We take it a day at a time."

Thanks Claudette! I love it! :sofunny: Classic Céline!

Thanks Koolan for the video. So, basicly, what they're saying is that this Raymond guy, it's was his 60th year in show-business. He's just a bit older than René and René was saying that it was the first francophone voice, francophone signer that he liked, that he was impressed with. He just wanted to congratulate him. Then, Céline says that she doesn't know what those ''tree bars'' are (what is that???) but she still appreciates him and he has a place in her heart. Then, she says that people who have a talent like his go beyond the generations and that she's going to listen to his album, she likes him even though she's not part of the same generation as René.

It's cute. She's so sweet!

A little bit of history(don't worry Vic, I wasn't born... but I know the guy):

The 3 bars was a trio composed of Raymond Berthiaume (saxophone and vocals), Roger Gravel (piano) and Fernand Thibault (bass). Early in 1952, the group is soon known in the piano bars in the province of Québec. Mister Sandman and especially "N'oublie jamais"("Never forget") sung a little bit by Céline(and René) on the vid posted by Koolan is their first success on RCA Victor records, an immediate success. The group gets more success with covers of French and American songs like "Cerisiers roses et pommiers blancs"("Pink cherry trees and apple white" in english), "Darling je vous aime beaucoup" ("Darling I love you very much") and "Une petite Canadienne" ("A little Canadian"). The Trio disbanded in 1959, with the departure of Raymond Berthiaume.

Raymond went solo and his nickname was "the velvet voice".

Here is the original song created 56 years ago :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6JkI2rh7Hg

and one he sang for his 60th in english, the same night Céline and René paid hommage to him by vid :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCZzLziswOc&feature=related

I guess René and Céline know just about every artist or musician who ever sang a note here at home. I really admire their kindness and generosity cuz they never miss a chance to send a note or a video to congratulate everyone when there is a tribute or some kind of honour given to them or when they are sick or something....

And yes I agree, Céline is so sweet! Those two are really one of a kind!

 I'm still wondering if she meant like six cupcakes though? I'm having a hard time picturing her eating six cakes (or even cupcakes for that matter). Where the heck would she store it? :sofunny:

Edit: Thanks for the info Davey. I did not know they recorded a CD. I like ''I'm Alive'', but the rest is quite horrible actually.

I think she meant RICE cakes.... :whistling:

Here's a new clip from the Minneapolis show in 2008 (which I was at  ).... Check out the sweet monkey noises she does during Kemba's dance during I'm Alive... I've seen clips where she does little screams there, but never a full out monkey!!!

Plus, there are some GREAT booty shots from 2:15 onwards, love the shake, love the booty, love her!

EDIT:

Here's another fun clip from that night... Céline talking about Prince. There's some great facial expressions in this one

Doesn't Celine just break your heart when she talks about her mom and about Rene (in a good way of course)? This is a very good interview. So touching. We need a good interview again!

Here's sound check audio I found for It's All Coming Back To Me Now from Taking Chances Tour. AMAZING ending (she should sing it like this for her upcoming show) :-D

Nice video. I don't understand why she kills her voice singing a "lipped song" in the soundcheck by using all these random and improper techniques that hardly even sound good, but she chooses not to sing the song in its normal way live when it actually counts.
Posted
I definitely agree that she should've done the ending like that at more of her shows, but I like when she does something different for every show so it's not all completely the same each time.

 She sings holy sh#t high notes in the sound check, but she lips it in the show? I don't get that. Is that video even from the TC tour because I can't remember ever hearing that she did IACBTMN in her soundchecks...

To me it sounded like nothing more than the screams of death she does in the very beginning of a few LCMM performances. No performance/technique/whatever will top the C#5 chest notes she did for that song in the FIY tour. Sounded amazing, powerful, and perfect vibrato.
