what they wont tell u about the las vegas show and u'll see once the DVD comes : celine is lip synching many of the songs -

 

"the power of love" / "it's all coming back to me now"/ "my heart will go on"/ "i wish"/ "i surrender"(most parts)/ the italian song/ "to love you more"/ "i drove all night"/ "i've got the world on a string"

 

hopefuly things will change until her next tour...

Back to the whole AEA and GTSW being lipped/overdubbed/live at the CBS Special.

 

If you watch the performance of GTSW at the World Children's Day Concert it appears to be lipped, but with some careful analyzing, you can tell it's live, but overdubbed:

 

- Her lips were off.

- Everything else was live (by her and everyone else), so why would this be different?

- She wasn't doing her lipped gestures she normally does.

- The audience noise randomly cuts out and is never heard again.

- MOST of all, there was a live orchestra for all songs, which gave them a different sound, YET it sounds the same as CD.

That's the way to do it though! I considered a subscription, but decided that I'd prefer to do it twice yearly. I reckon that I can keep up with it by seeing my donator icon dissapear from under my aviator. I do imagine though that it can be harder to keep on to people who don't do a monthly payment. Feel free to drop me an e-mail after the six months if I haven't re-donated. I won't mind.

Isn't such a bad thing. I'm re-doing some of my videos, fixing the flaws. And adding them again.

 

The greatest live performances video, I removed two (one because the volume sucked and I couldn't change it without it getting unclear, and the other I wasn't 100% sure that it was live). They have both been replaced by separate performances of the same song (BYLM, IYAMT).

 

I also added five performances that were not in the video before. The Show Must Go On, Taking Chances, Alone (the high note and the long note), and Because You Loved Me (the high note).

 

And most of all, I equalized the volume. Well, kinda. The ones that were low I raised. There were about four of them. One of them kinda sounds not so great now that I raised it up. :/

I just don't want to have to keep track of who sent and who didn't if it was a subscription. But, I can understand why some don't want to go that route. And for the record, I can customize subscriptions to your liking.

I agree, I have pretty much lived on this site since I discovered it For years, I never knew any other uber Céline fans, so I didn't have anyone to talk to about her music or upcoming events, etc. Now I have 22,000! and I love it! Thank you for everything you do ( all the admins and people in charge!) and I hope that my donation will help the forum bring Céline-happiness to many more fans, like it did for me!!

I was wondering why did you get suspended? It also said that your BYLM video was removed, and I think that was before you we're suspended, but I suppose it could have been removed because you we're suspended.. anyway I wonder why!!

No problem! I get stuck on the abbreviations too, especially when it's a french song because I only know like 2 and I get confused.

I have only heard maybe 20 of her French songs and only like about 6.

I subbed and noticed an error on the BYLM vid, but it's awesome anyway

 

The only french ones I know are

 

 

pqtme, jsp, ssd, lee, and esnqr, but esqnr only when it's spelled out, I have to think a minute on it's abbreviation.

Thanks for re-uploading your vids. I thought the performance of BYLM from Regis & Kathie Lee was amazing. Not the slightly different "big" note or the intro or anything like but her tone/timbre is beautiful there, she sounds amazing.
