People can't move their mouths that much when they're actually singing. On the other hand... people who were there say it was live at the time... and her lipping seems uncharacteristically bad if she was lipping at the time... I think it's impossible to say... I've been searching for it for months now and can't find it anywhere. There has been so much talk of those two songs being sung 100% live, yet all we have to go by are those leaked, lipped performances. I didn't think she ever sang AEA live anywhere, anytime. Well, same thing with GTSW? For the person who said she did her "trademark lipping movements, I'd have to agree... I guess what we *know*: - Forum members were at the taping, and said she sang them live. This would have been the first time she performed these songs, right? What would you have to compare them to? This kinda goes back to "lets pick apart her live performances that are on youtube, but once you're at her concert, you're going nuts so you don't care or notice if she's lip-syncing" idea. - If they were overdubbed, her performances would have had to have been spot on and 100% in sync with the album versions to make this work if there was only one take of each song. [Members who were there, how many takes of these numbers did they do?] - The band is eerily still and in the dark during most of both performances, especially during AEA, which is contrary to the rest of the special, where the band is visible and active. - They would have been the only lipped performances of the night, right? Odd and out of place, but she's done it before, and will continue to do this, as it provides a break to everyone's voices, hands, arms, feet, whatever. [Think Millennium Concert: Live (For the One I Love)... what was THAT all about?!] - Her voice was awesome that night... so why go through the trouble of overdubbing just those two songs, and then cut them from the final broadcast altogether?!? I'd kill to hear the bootleg... LOL
