I freaking love this production. It's so refreshing. What I love about it the most is that it's totally original. It sounds like a brand new song. There is no copying anyone (production-wise) going on here. I can't think of any other artist listening to this. It has such a unique sound that totally works. You're right. This could be huge nowadays... It wouldn't go unnoticed among the critics. Many people would be surprised how cool she sounds.

Well, there's so much fresh talent out there. Creative, passionate people and yet they go for old formula most of the time.

This alone gives me huge hopes for a new material. It better sound original enough vs (I've heard it before) Sia and so on... Anyway, time will tell...

Guys, listen to their version of Revovering. It’s AMAZING! So modern!! I wish they could do songs like this for her new album. Or make a double album with songs in the traditional arrangement and in a modern arrangement like Shania Twain did with Up. That would be awesome!

He went to a psychologist to overcome his departure from Celine's team. He even stopped playing piano for a while. Apparently the psychologist didn't really help him so he stopped visiting her and started to write an autobiography, which was key to his full recovery.

 

On this biography, he admits that he used to smoke marihuana during the 80's as it was said that it helped creativity. He says that, the mornings after smoking, he saw that yes, it helped creativity, but the songs that he composed under the effects of marihuana weren't that good, let's put it this way.

 

He also said that his big dream now is to be the pianist of the Rolling Stones.

 

I remember back in 2014 he said in an interview that he was planning to write a book with the many tour memories he shared with Céline and the musicians since the late '80s. Now that would be something!

Thanks for translating. That sounds very interesting. I hope, hope, hope, that this book will be available in English too. But I fear it will be published only in French, like all the other interesting books about her or René.
