It's interesting to see this struggle that they were going though at this time because I really wonder what she felt about the first run of Vegas with A New Day? I mean that show ran for 5 years!! I know Rene had to do some serious coaxing to get her to keep going. (well my thoughts only of course) At the end of A New Day she looked emaciated, so thin. It was not good for her......

Watching that video makes me feel so sad that Celine and Rene put there marriage and there family life aside for so long to focus fully on Celine's career. Especially now since Rene has been through so much health wise the past few years. It's sad knowing how much precious time was wasted in a way.

 

It makes me feel sad that they thought they had to do so much to please us. We probably would have been fine if she stopped her career after the Color Of My Love album. Celine was on top still at that time. She could have taken a year or two off, come back and it probably would have been fine.

 

It's kind of sad if you think about how Adele only made 3 albums and then she took a long break and it was totally fine. It kind of sucks that this day in age it doesn't really take long to achieve fame.

 

With youtube, instagram and twitter, anyone can be famous and they don't even have to do much. It's just sad that it wasn't that way for Celine and she had to work so much harder and miss out on a big chunk of her life, where famous people of today have the choice and freedom to take breaks here and there if they choose to.

 

I really liked seeing Celine and Rene together with there family like that. Seeing them being normal and having a family dinner, seeing Celine help out in the kitchen and bring things out to the table. It's really nice and I know she relishes in those moments in life.

 

I love seeing her like that. Looking natural with the hair and the way she was dressed in the kitchen with the family. I love those rare moments when Celine isn't "Celine The Superstar" and she's just Celine. She looks so good dressed down and she looks so tall next to Rene's family. LOL.

 

I am so happy that Celine has had chances here and there to have a normal life. She has 3 precious boys now and she is so much more whole as a human being. It's nice to look back on this video and atleast know that she got most of the things she wanted out of life.

I find two things interesting. She first spends over a million dollars on clothes and (borrows some shoes, excuse me LOL) doesn't think twice about it. But I have a problem spending 25 dollars on a shirt. I guess the lives of rich and famous confuse me and that she likes photoshoots cause she can do things she ordinarily would never do. I completely get that, but it's très interessante de moi!!

I am pretty sure that from what I've heard in interviews of other celebrities talking about photo shoot experiences, photographers and people that control the shoot like things there way, so maybe in those situations Celine kind of has to go with the flow and do what the people on the shoot want her to do.

 

She has some freedom having Annie Horth on board, but I bet Annie doesn't even have total control over what Celine is going to wear in photo shoots, because she has her ideas and the photographers have there own ideas and direction they want there shoot to go in. It's different when it comes to photoshoots. There isn't really much control over clothes. They all come in sample sizes made for models.

 

It's not like when Annie gets things custom made for Celine's body. I don't think Celine actually pays for those close in her photo shoots. I'm pretty sure that when it comes to photo shoots, they just use rental clothes that are sent out special for photo shoots and have to get sent back afterwards.

 

I know Celine does buy her own clothes from designers and doesn't take any charity, but this is different. It's not a red carpet event or outfits for functions that Celine is attending. Photo shoots are a whole other thing all together.

 

I could be wrong, but I believe that is how it works. I'm sure if Celine eyes something on set that she likes though, she tells Annie and then Annie probably custom orders it for her in Celine's size if Celine she really likes an item on set here and there.

I never did think of that. They're probably rentals... She did mentioned borrowed shoes. who knows? that would explain a lot though.

Yes, you are completely correct. During a photo shoot more than 3/4 of the clothing isn't even used. It is all borrowed clothing and it is all sent back when the shoot is over.

 

It is also typical that a celebrity would have their stylist order an item that they liked from the shoot for them to own and wear again, but again the clothing is not purchased up front.

Celine's face looks strange in these videos from Celine Face a Dion documentary. It looks like her face was flipped horizontally. She looks gorgeous though. Love the hair. I also must say that they gave her amazing lighting in this interview!

 

Sorry, just noticed in the actual Face a dion official topic that the poster of these videos did mention that the videos were posted horizontally. I just thought I was maybe seeing things. Good to know I'm not crazy. LOL.

Something tells me that the song was supposed to be titled "S'il suffisait qu'on s'aime" as well as the album.I think I read it somewhere. It's not the first time I hear this as a title. Even it sounds strange because she had a concert in NY on September 3rd and 4th. And the album SISDA was coming out on September 7th, so she should have known it by then.
