As someone mentioned above, she was crying because they'd been talking about and showing pictures of her father. At the end, Rene wipes away her tears and she kind of leans in to him for comfort. The version I have on my computer of this whole show, before singing Oxygene, Rene is talking with an interviewer at the same table she starts singing at. She walks up behind them and gives Rene a kiss on the cheek (so sweet) and then she looks at the interviewer guy and does the same( cover up lol). I just went last week. Yes, she used the corded mic all night, except for MHWGO.She opened MHWGO just like she did in NY, where she does the open instrumentation. It was awesome.Plus, and this is not about opening a debate, I am just adding this here because of your comment about singing live (for more info is in the "Changes to the show" thread on the "Celine board:: When I was there, she sang probably 90% of the show live (she lipped part of WDMHBN, and part of the Reason, and I am not sure if the opening to Titatnic was lip synch or live. Other than that, all live. People can believe what they want, but I was there. This was my 3rd time seeing the show and I could tell from my past trips. She is singing almost everything live now (or at least, did last week the night I was there). She sounds unreal. Like, you sit there thinking "is she human?" She sounds that good. But this is one of the things I love about Celine . . . even when she's doing ridiculous things like dramatically playing air violin in front of 20,000 people, she manages to look utterly natural and not the slightest bit embarrassed. I love her!If I were on stage playing violin with her and saw her do the air violin I would be laughing my #ss off!
