So anyway the website starts working again and I get my tickets ..about 10th row back...VERY GOOD seats...very very happy with them but I am not happy with this upcharge of 500 dollars per ticket for the first 5 or 6 rows. It has never been like this before and hardly any other show in vegas has this high of a price for a regular top dollar seat. Not talking about VIP and High Roller packages but standard top dollar seats. This is crazy. So the die hard loyal fantastic Celine fans have to shell out nearly 1000 dollars for seats in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, row???????????? I am beyond speechless right now..500 dollars to get the top ticket now...unbelieveable..am I the only one who is upset with this? What are your thoughts? Quote

Celine would not agree to do it if Rene wasnt atleast doing somewhat better. I believe they got a good confident prognosis from his doctors to go forward with this. I believe they are confident that his health is on the upswing and everything will be fine going forward and scheduling the shows. To make this announcement and plan all these shows I am sure Celine feels confident enough too to be able to do this. So I personally believe everything will be fine and Rene will get better each day...and everyone..what an incredible experience this opening night will be. If you havent been to an opening night before (like me) I would strongly recommend you consider going to this one. It will be one hell of an emotional and awesome night. Rene will be in the audience watching the love of his life sing her heart out for him. She will give everything she ever has at this show for him and for the fans. This IS the night to go. It will be one incredible once in a life time moment. Its big. Plus it will be in some way a new show. So any fan doubting going or debating...I strongly urge you to go to this opening night..it will be unlike any other opening night before. As another member said...this is powerful stuff and August 27th will be one for the books for everyone there. Every other night will be amazing as always but this opening night will be extra special...so everyone get your tickets! I agree, they must be a least slightly optimistic or they would not being doing this. Of course she did say last summer that he was in remission only for evidently a short time after him to be re-diagnosed. Maybe they are keeping their cards closer to their chests this time. Quote
