LukeD Posted July 4, 2014 at 10:39 AM Posted July 4, 2014 at 10:39 AM Hitting or belting a note is different than singing a whole chorus in that key. Just saying but honestly I'm done and over this conversation. Celine fans are like "too many chiefs".She is singing high right before AND during the chorus of Regarde-Moi. She jumps from middle to high notes, along with Priere Paienne it's one her most demanding songs. 1 Quote
LukeD Posted July 4, 2014 at 10:40 AM Posted July 4, 2014 at 10:40 AM She can make a beautiful acoustic medley and sing 'Be The Man' there. I always thought this song would sound better had it been less bombastic. 1 Quote

DionFanAlways Posted July 4, 2014 at 12:37 PM Posted July 4, 2014 at 12:37 PM Please don't roast me here but I've never been crazy about TPOTD.....I'm just looking forward to this tour mainly because it's English so whatever she sings I'll be happy with. It would be nice though if she did like she did for Bercy and included some obscure songs! 1 Quote I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
Jessyka Posted July 4, 2014 at 01:13 PM Posted July 4, 2014 at 01:13 PM It would be nice to hear TPOTD live again after all these years. 2 Quote http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/backup674/Banners/Image1.jpg
powerofamor17 Posted July 4, 2014 at 01:15 PM Posted July 4, 2014 at 01:15 PM Well, if thats the case then we can settle for her vegas show which is English. I think not, different songs she hasnt performed in ages is definately a way to go. TPOTD just happens to be a japanese fav. Yes she should do like she did with Bercy, but less slow boring stuff. If TPOTD is confirmed, will she have a choir as backup……???? Quote
chocolatechip15 Posted July 5, 2014 at 03:03 AM Posted July 5, 2014 at 03:03 AM Please don't roast me here but I've never been crazy about TPOTD..... I'll put away the pitchfork . . Actually, I think TPOTD is just ok . .there are tons of other songs of hers that I'd rather hear. It has a nice pomp-n-circumstance, Olympic-appropriate feeling, and she sounds great on it, of course. .but there's nothing that special about the melody and the lyrics are sooo trite -- and Celine herself has said that the lyrics bother her because the power of the dream isn't enough for some people (like her niece Karine). I am definitely not a fan of Linda Thompson's lyrics in general -- except that I like the "The world unites in hope and peace" part. . Now if Celine were ever to sing "One Moment in Time" (the '88 Olympics theme). .. *that* would be incredible. One of Whitney Houston's best .. . . 3 Quote
mike_z Posted July 5, 2014 at 05:28 AM Posted July 5, 2014 at 05:28 AM Tell me of another ballad where she hits an EB5 on EACH ONE of the choruses (not just on the last one)... and that she has performed live. Not even TT, ABM, MHWGO or BYLM... the choruses are really in her mid-register. The high belts only come in the end. Quote

Really looking forward to these concerts. How come it's not the same intensity? We talk about same notes. Difference is she is energetic on stage when singing dance songs which makes singing harder. IACBTMN has Eb5s (or E5s)... baby, baby, baby! 1 Quote

I'm from Brazil and I didn't know you needed a visa either, but after a quick google search I found out that you do need to fill out a form to go. mike_z, maybe you had to fill out a form during the flight, in the plane?
