Yeah I loved it too! I guess it was OK that she lip-synched back then! And it was very obvious to us fans as well!

and I'm fearing she won't have the time to rehearse with Ne-Yo!

 

Only that if she does.. That would mean more performances are on the way... How about the Grammies?

 

They sang live for the Christmas Special. It would be a mistake to lip on The Voice -- and I'm sure her team is aware of that.

During the commercial break Céline's performance was mentioned for the upcoming finals for The Voice.

If you watch The Crazy Ones, his character is much more subdued. The show must be doing well since it's been renewed but Robin Williams is better when he doesn't use a script. His stand up is much better

Well, I don't if you have seen that article from contactmusic.com about the new album and her appearance in the voice....personality i don't like the headline that they have put like "To Bounce Back From Album Disappointment" :wtf:What....?? ......not to mention... " Her first english -languague album in six years "peaked ......bla bla.... before plummeting"..........will hopefully rejuvenute sales·

The stupid article says that people have forgotten about Dion, and the fact is that the album is still Top 40; had it dropped out of the Top 200 in 5 weeks or less, yes they can say all they want, but they could save that crap for another moment, as the album hopefully is far from over. And it's too soon to label it a flop. If it's 20+ weeks and it hasn't rebounded, ok, write what you want, but now wait a few weeks and see.

 

I still have hopes after the amazing promo.

I had a gut feeling prior to the release of LMBT she would have a hard time hitting 100k and I adjusted my prediction to 135K or so. Which was inflatted as I thought "She's Celine, so she'll probably do north of 100K". Yet she opened with 77k....surprised me, yet not over the top shocked as I had a 'gut feeling' it was going to be low.

 

Likewise, while I think the NBC performance on the Voice and will help, and the CBS home of the holidays will create some exposure, I'm not expecting a huge surge on the charts. I think we will be fortunate that she'll do 40-45k after these appearances; if we're lucky. This week, after hit's daily double starts reporting today, I think she will be lower again; (coincidentally, I had a dream last night she was no. 51 on the Billboard 200; hope not a prophecy of things to come LOL). Nevertheless radio is not playing her and I dont think the CBS special will be highly rated (watched) Biggest impact will probably be the Voice.

who cares about US? the album is doing very well and extremely well in UK, a very hard market. If America are not so keen then that is their problem. Celine must take note and come to base herself in the cultural hub of things i.e Europe not Amercia. (By the way I do love America for hoilidays and adore American people! I secretly would like to live there!) She is a much bigger seller in Europe and in UK the success is amazing! Her best selling

album for years.

Hopefully, this week's promotion will ensure the album will reach Gold (500k) by the end of its run, probably sometime next year. If she manages to do so in US, then worldwide the album sales can easily surpass the 1.5m mark (Given the fact she sells over 400k in Canada, 250k in Uk and 200k in France) and the album will officially be a successful release. The game is on, people!

I agree I would have loved a CBS special of "Loved Me Back To Life" but having a 5 minute spot on the biggest singing competition in the US with 14,000,000 + viewers is probably the only thing promotional wise that could help "Incredible" single and "LMBTL" album! A "LMBTL" special would not garnish that many viewers! I think this and "Incredible" is Sony's / Celine teams rabbit in the hat so to say. I truly believe they were waiting on a plat form like The Voice to introduce the duet with Ne Yo because he is a current artist and is still popular in the mainstream general public.

It really is the perfect promotion for the single and her album. The album deserves at least one more shot at people hearing about it before she heads back to Vegas -- and The Voice is as big as it gets in the US right now.

I think the TC video had a nice concept, but the execution was a bit meh. Some great parts, others not so great. At least there was a storylined video, which I hope we also get for this era.

If Sony plans on spending some of the litte money left over from Beyoncé's video budget, I say spend it on Incredible... which is probably the only single that could be played on radios in the US...
