This album is shaping up to be the most critically acclaimed English album of her career. The Esquire piece isn't exactly a formal review and was kind of a joke, so I'm not including it. Besides that, the only other negative "review" came from the freaking Toronto Sun. Anglo Canadians really have a complex about her don't they??? It wasn't completely negative though (2/5). Most major publications so far gave the album positive reviews, with a couple mixed ones thrown in. The first 6-7 were just amazing.As much as I love Celine though, I do agree that the first songs on the album are the best and then it kind of turns into hard core adult contemporary left overs. But of course I would only say that to other people in this forum and if I were to give a review for a magazine - I'd have to say it was all perfect!!! Celine has had too hard a time over the years from critics, I would never add to that. she deserves credit where its due! 1 Quote
