I only skip Overjoyed and At 17. Not that they are bad but I invariably end up not believing it. It's like when you watch a movie with bad acting and it snaps you out of being in the moment. That's how I feel when these songs come on. Eventhough there are a lot of ballads, there's a coherence like we've rarely had on an English CD. Songs are fresh and modern and I forget that Celine is 45. Then when I hear O and AT17 I'm like, oh right, "Old Celine" who is performing old songs for old people in Vegas. I so desperately wanted LMBTL to work in the US!! Freaking radio. If they gave the song a chance, people would have caught on and she would been selling much much more. They don't belong to this album. The rest is so so coherent. The beats, the voice, and even though there are 23 different producers working on this album and even if she doesn't want to take credit, she now is a producer herself, she was the one who brought coherence to the album. 1 Quote
