Ι hope she avoids singing ''Overjoyed'' & ''At Seventeen'' or anything that was recorded/released before 1996 for that matter. Her goal is to come off as modern and fresh.

I agree with your post but seeing as At 17 and Overjoyed are on the album.................they are unavoidable......

I have a feeling this wiill be a setting like the Taking Chances tvspecial. I did not like that special. It was lipped, the audience was dull and a bunch of rich people, not real fans. And i also had the feeling celine's jokes were scripted. It would be so wonderful to sing for a crowd with fans only. And we deserve that too. Vegas is a big moneymaker,but not for the fans. Would they listen to what the fans really want, that setlist would have to change dramatically

 

Take a look back at her old CBS specials and you will also find most of them are lipped.

So it seems. It looks like it's a free concert offered as part of Pandora's concert series. They're sending invites to those who have subscribe to Celine Dion radio on Pandora and live in the tri-state area. Anyone else that gets to go will have to win this sweepstakes.

I wish they'd "surprise" us with a television special......kinda like they "surprised" us with Une Seule Fois. I'm sure whoever ends up going (if they're on here) will let us know if there is a lot of filming going on. It seems like they film and release everything of hers so I wouldn't be surprised to see it later. ;) However, since it's a free concert Pandora is doing.......that could complicate that idea if it's supposed to be an intimate one night only deal. Or maybe they'll feature it somewhere on their site? I entered but I'm trying to just forget about it in case I don't win. Somehow I don't think it's going to work like that.........hahaha.

The pandora invites for those living in the Tri-state area I think may have already gone out. If not I'd imagine they'd go out this week. If I remember correctly, I think you have to enter by Friday 10/18 and I think they're drawing the winners then. If not, for some reason 10/21 is stuck in my mind too. But I think it will be on the 18th.

 

Edit: I just checked the official rules, the drawing will be "on or about 10/21".

Hmmmm....Idk. I thought they would've been sent out already. Maybe they'll send them the same day they announce the winner? October 21.

Regarding the exclusion of Maryland and Rhode Island from the contest:

I do wish they'd give more notice! Packing wouldn't necessarily be an issue but finding someone to come stay with my daughter for 2 nights would be. I'd move heaven and earth to make it happen, though. I wonder who the lucky winners will be!! I'm dying with anticipation to know who it is, even if it isn't me.

hello I love that celine is doing a free concert. I don't have Pandora and I am not entering I am hoping they show it on tv. and I also hope that she does a tour with the new cd.

Anybody kn0ws bout the setlist? Im so excited i wish smebody wud upload the entire concert on youtube. It wud be great too if it wil turn out just like in quebec but english version meaning she'll sing old and neglected songs. . Like with this tear, then you look at me, i remember l.a. . .etc
