CelinesDIVO5 Posted September 13, 2013 at 11:34 PM Posted September 13, 2013 at 11:34 PM no realistic. If only you knew how many lonely people there are out there in the world that have money, and know that money can't buy you everything you need to sustain a healthy life. A healthy life would consist of happiness, love, things to believe in, dreams, friends that love you for you and not your wallet. You are ignorant to the fact that sometimes people who don't have much money are actually much richer than most people that do have money. Celine even said that to a child backstage at "A New Day..." She said "Some people have everything, but they have nothing." I feel it's a very true statement. Celine is lucky she came from the family that she came from. It helped her mentally stay grounded. Just because she has made a lot of money doing something she loves, doesn't mean that her life and ideals and her job are all superficial. There are plenty of performers that work very hard and don't make the money that Celine makes. Do they work harder than Celine because they don't have a recording contract or the millions rolling in? No matter how you look at it, performing is very tough. It's an art, it's a skill, it's a talent. 5 Quote https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL54qnRGM2gMatthew Charles - "Fix You" - Live at The Stonewall InnStonewall Sensation - Season 15Originally written and performed by Coldplay

quaizee Posted September 13, 2013 at 11:42 PM Posted September 13, 2013 at 11:42 PM (edited) -this is without doubt a devastating flop. Celine has ruined her chances by staying in Vegas swallowing money singing the same old songs and miming too much. Her voice is still good, not as good as the lipping of famous songs would have us believe. I was so cross to see her mime several notes/songs like IDAN in Manchester in 2008 and the evening with Celine on uk tv was a laughing stock (illness blamed time and time again?) Her french career is very different. Following the success of the last french album, Rene must have thought that success was guaranteed. I think once the press notice the flop and it is a flop, of the single the album will suffer badly. Celine looks tired and the interviews are the same old rubbish. I think her international English selling career is now over. Wait for the headlines................ You can't compare the success of SA with a single of the upcoming album. As simple as that. Nobody knows what is the future for this album. The succes of an album is not determinated by a single...I think if René must have thought about the guaranteed succes of SA, he can do the same with LMBTL, so he can repeat the formula for saving her English career ¿? And you can't speak on behalf of all her fans/media by saying that her international English selling career is now over... Ps. This is the most devastating post I've read so far. Prima_Donna1 Posted September 13, 2013 at 11:43 PM Posted September 13, 2013 at 11:43 PM (edited) Homerton-why are you here? If you don't agree with what Celine does then why you bother sitting your a** on a public forum talking nonsense about Celine? Ok I am goin to say this straight out. Celine may not write her songs or produce them but she works hard giving life to those songs. She makes us feel like she wrote them herself because she puts the emotion into them. Ok! She tours and performs constantly! She has 3 kids! She runs a house. She records an album and does interviews. When she performs in Vegas and mostly from what I have seen is live. You negative haters like to say that Celine lips and mimes all the time. You guys actually think she frauds people all the time and act like you have the right to expose her. You people say she the queen of lipsync! did you forget about Millie Vanilli? You people make me sick. Btw I know she lips and mimes thank you very much but it's not relevant to LMBTL! Popular Post QueenCeline87 Posted September 14, 2013 at 12:43 AM Popular Post Posted September 14, 2013 at 12:43 AM Come on guys 2 weeks ago this place was so exciting and buzzing with LMBTL fever! Yes it hasn't performed well in the charts ....yet!! I really think a lyric video and actual MV will help things along and I'm sure that's been worked on! We have to stay positive! Celine is excited about her new music and as much as I'm sure she would love it to do well in the charts , I think she is more excited about sharing it with the fans and happy that she found music she was passionate about to record!! And just wait until the album!!Have a little faith! 10 Quote http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_-RQtOAL6F2I/TAZl-_MB2AI/AAAAAAAAAiI/bkJK6a44q3o/s1600/celine-dion-goodbyes-the-saddest-word.jpg

Chin Posted September 14, 2013 at 04:34 AM Posted September 14, 2013 at 04:34 AM (edited) Celine is really a hard working person. She is a mother of three. She has a family herself, and an old mother as well. When she's doing shows in Vegas, she needs to prepare for the show since 2:30 pm. Sometimes, she has recording sessions after the show, until midnight or next day morning. Even when she is sick now, she still keep doing interviews and performances... and she sings LIVE. She doesn't have time to rest at all. And her TV appearances for promoting LMBTL are not ended yet. Edited September 14, 2013 at 04:37 AM by Chin 1 Quote

smash Posted September 14, 2013 at 07:41 AM Posted September 14, 2013 at 07:41 AM I'm sorry to the forum members for replying as I did in the above post, and I hope I don't get into trouble for it. But that guy just made me see red. I hate talking the way I did. Sorry. But someone had to say something to him. I'm done with him now, so he can pick me out all he wants, I don't care. He is obviously not a Celine fan. Sharon 2 Quote
karatedude317 Posted September 14, 2013 at 07:42 AM Posted September 14, 2013 at 07:42 AM If I hear Rawr one more time... That song is spun constantly and yet Celine is nowhere to be found. What I'm not understanding is why the song was only released to a select few stations, rather than all AC stations? Is this common practice for new songs? 2 Quote
PuraVida Posted September 14, 2013 at 08:28 AM Posted September 14, 2013 at 08:28 AM (edited) Okay, now I can finally make my peace with the song. I like it, however I do not love it. Celine keeps saying how much she love being able to use her "bedroom voice." Well I blooming well am not overly fond of her bedroom voice. You might as well make the vocal as perfect and as sleek as you can while you are still able to, Celine! Moreover, the bedroom voice sounds a bit affected and as though it requires some effort of its own, anyway. Granted, not all songs require the pristine vocal treatment and on the studio recording she sounds great, but in a few live performances the "bedroom voice" just sounds eckkkkk. Second, people have been saying her vocals are amazing on this song. She sounds beautiful as ever, but in the song she barely does anything with her voice. Nothing playful or dramatic or artistic or virtuosic....just a belt here and a falsetto note here. This is actually my biggest complaint. Third, the highest note in the song is structured so strangely...she falls back and then "soars" back....so strange. So so strange. And hard to perform!!! Fourth, not a few of the outlets covering her release have mentioned that the song has dubstep in it. Where...the...heck is the dubstep? It's just not there at all. People need to stop repeating the falsehoods they hear. Edited September 14, 2013 at 08:31 AM by PuraVida Quote
