Yes! Billboard awards are losing credibility...I was shocked of some nominations

Well, probably is not about Billboard, but today's 'singers' :/

I agree alot of the music that is played on the radio anymore is not good and almost always sounds the same. In my psychology class my professor showed us that the music and beat for "California Gurls" and "Tik Tok" (pretty sure it was these two songs) was the same beat just sped up or slowed down a bit with. But then again, props to Adele for having "21" still receiving nominations 3 years after its release.

My only little complaint and its not really even that is her hair it looked good but the same hairstyle since 2007 and the way it looked today looks identical to Jamaica a while back. I think they need a fresh style for when the English album comes out maybe go a little darker and straight like in the World music awards in 2004 when She received the legend award.

This picture with Madonna is the best souvenir from that night, they looked good together.

 

Plus, I love how more and more people seem to show their respect towards Celine. Since her 2011 comeback, critics praised her show, Sans Attendre was well-recieved and became a smash, many singers covered her songs on talent shows and several artists declared their admiration. It's a great era for Celine, proud to be her fan, as always.

Im really sad to say that it wasnt her day i mean shes acting too old, shel looked ok in the video but the makeup hair colour eyebrows and lipstick were all the same .she looked like a one coloured person .althought shania was wearing like an oscars gown but she looked great. Ya I have to agree on the make up in the gold dress wasn't great ...as a person who works with make up every day i would have liked to see something different and better applied.

Her make up for her new video was fab , Scott Barnes is amazing she should work with him more often.

She still looked awesome tho <3

Otherwise I loved the dress and her other outfit.

They were perfect for her , Classy yet still modern without making it look like she is trying to be young ang hip ...unlike Madonna....god woman buy some pants!!!

I really like Taylor ...granted she isn't amazing vocally but as a song writer I admire her.

And compared to other stars that age she is humble and doesn't take her clothes off to sell her records. She adores her fans and its not just for show. I think she will be around for years to come when some of her peers won't!

I know she gets a bad rep for the boyfriends but in my opinion she hasn't dated half the guys the press has put her with ...poor girl can't even glance at a guy and she is dating him!

And I couldn't have been happier that it was Celine to present her with artist of the year :-)

I feel like Celine did her own makeup before the show, like she used to do during the 90's ... which is harder these days because she really needs some stellar makeup to cover up her wrinkles ... either that, or she needs to go with a more dynamic haircut that doesn't just fall to the sides in a boring wave. This would be such a good time for her to go with a darker look, like maybe a reprise of her hairstyle from the "Celine Dion" era ... she is starting to get insanely washed out with that same blond again and again ... i wonder if it's gotten to the point where she can't go back to natural, though, because she's going grey / the integrity of her hair has been compromised?

 

In any case, I loved the reception she got - I think Whitney's death has made the industry more grateful we still have Celine, and even if she doesn't get a standing ovation, at the very least she got a diva's welcome, which she sometimes *doesn't* get from these crowds ... and Taylor looked so excited to be receiving an award from her, it was such an exciting moment to be reminded of how much of a role model Celine is for this new generation of divas!
