Wait, what's wrong with the DVD version? Is it the quality or some other technical problem?

 

Image and sound quality... I'm comparing with The Concert and A New Day... and this is by far the worse of them, don't get me wrong, AND and TCWTTC are not bad!!! I'm using a home theater, that's why I can say I don't like how it sounds, because sounds different than the other dvds...

I FINALLY got mine. It sounds amazing. It's probably my fault but two of the songs on the disc were scratched. Not thrilled but so happy I finally have it!

The reproduction of music materials on home theater systems (designed for good reproduction of movie-special effects) mostly needs other/special settings for the equipment. Eg you don't need a powerful double bass from subwoofer.

 

And it is necessary to notice that "A New Day" and TCWT were recorded "indoor", and USF was "outdoor", for that reason the sound must be different.

 

If neither settings help, try to convert the signal to a simple stereo.

 

I did not see the DVD version, I have a Blu-Ray version. The HD picture is spotless and I have this happiness that I can reproduce and listen the sound in TRUEHD mode. My impression is heavily to describe with words. I can hear cleary her voice in front and backing singerses with every single instrument or sound behind. I found even a pan flute sound at some point of "Je crois toi" :)

Yes, me too, i also can have the sound n TRUEHD. Everything is perfect.

Has anyone else had problems playing the USF DVD? I tried to play it on my DVD player, it it wouldn't play. Any help would be appreciated :)

I've watched it twice. But I was at the concert so maybe that's why. To me, it didn't really capture the feeling because it's so slick and glossy, and overproduced with so many cameras, sound effects, and editing.

the only downside I would it has is that you can hear the audience sing along. I was also at the concert and it was awesome to hear. What I do like about the DVD is that I can see her. I was so far back at the show that I remember looking at the stage when she came out and though, where is she. Haha

That's the thing bad about those kind of concerts. The cheaper tickets are literally like a ways away from her.

. I was in section C, so I could have been a lot further back. Ionce I found her on stage I was able to see her, however not overly well. Still I wouldn't change the experience. I loved the concert.

I agree!! DVD's can do her justice... But seeing her live is amazing. There's nothing like it. I loved seeing her live.

Though not by date, but by day, (a Saturday last year) it's been exactly one year since Une Seule Fois. I remember, even though I could not be there, how excited and also nervous for her I was that night. I think it has done amazing things for her/her career, and for me/us as well. I'm so thankful it happened!!!!

ok now i have compared / check 3 versions of USF blu-ray (canada / Europe & Australia) on my new home theatre system

i noticed as someone said before the audio and the video is out of sync for like (less than) half second for the Europe version but other 2 versions are fine

and about the audio it's the same! but if you compare to AND it is not as good as AND i know it's out door and stuff but if u listen to it on surround sound system the surround speakers doesn't got that much sound at all... and when the song ends / when she speaks it got more? it's a bit like they turn down the surround sound when she sings but when the song finish / when she speaks they turn it up more??
