I don't know who commented on the previous page, but yes, Celine was reading from the teleprompter for the tribute and also throughout the whole special as well..Even the song lyrics were on the teleprompter all night long.. Celine did it kinda in the style of Whitney, but without being to bold, seeing as it's not her song and she's paying respect to a great singer who is no longer with us. I think it was perfectly well done and classy. It felt like a tribute, not someone trying to be like Whitney and showing off. It was flawless!! I thought it was the most heart felt and classy of the bunch. They all did an amazing job though. I really liked Usher's performance. You could tell it was from the heart. 1 Quote

I feel like if it was truly lipped, that it would have sounded even better with higher notes than this. Celine sounded lower, and she tends to sing lower when she sings live (not all of the time though) so I'm not getting why people are jumping on the lipping bandwagon again.
