As far as I'm aware 1D are signed to syco who basically is a small branch of Sony so as far as possibly having maybe a different project manager, it's basically the same team. But let's not forget the record company can't begin distribution and promotion until they are given the green light and more importantly the finished album from the management do its not just up to Sony. I'm expecting something great to be honest and I personally think the album will be released on time but they are still deciding on the single is my opinion like I said before.

Maybe they don't know what song is going to be the first single.... Water and a flame is not a great choice, it was flop and will be again a flop even if it's Céline who sings it. We need something fresh, something with a great tempo and not a cover which is slow and boring.

 

OMG you and Javito get over it! It's a cover it IS the first single, Celine does NOT write her material! Be glad we are getting anything, is the glass always half empty?

Honestly, that didn't thrill me at all. I am craving so much for a new English song. A loose promise of it coming 2 weeks from now doesn't soothe me. Besides that's a sunday. Is that a common day for radio premiers?

I never had any objection with Céline being only a performer singer :giggle: , but I assume that picking again for the umpteenth time a cover means that other original material she may have been sent has been rejected (again), and there may be greater songs than THIS cover :)

October 7 is a sunday....coincidentally that date is the same date Tell Him the first single was released from Let's Talk About Love as the first single (album release in November)

It has always been a joke, dear Luke. The last and good promotion I can remember was her so-called ANDHC comeback. For OH she was just riding the Crystler Horse.

Correct. And coincidentally that's when she began her Vegas contract, and that's when Sony Music stopped believing in her recording career -_-

Really curious why its keeping them so long.

 

I think they've read this forum and after some complaints about another cover as single, and too much Vegas songs that they might consider some other song as first single and maybe record some extra songs?!?

 

That's the only positive thing I could think of...

I doubt it too, but didn't they say two weeks ago that the single would be sent to radios in two weeks? This is so crazy, maybe the best option not to go crazy like this would be to just check the official site daily and make sure that I get official confirmation...
