This post was because he’s proud of his daughter. That’s her credit, not his. He was doting on it.

I know… still

I know… still

Still what? Lol

The post had nothing to do with his own alleged insecurities. In fact, if you scroll through, most of his posts are about his daughter.

So? Its still prove my point. Whether it’s for him or his daughter. She’s half of him. Giving credit and recognition for work is important to him.

Jeez, are you going to argue that reply too? 😂

Yes, I am because it has nothing to do with Vito and Celine or this topic regarding Vito at all. He’s proud of his daughter. There’s nothing at all wrong with that. It has no connection to Vito’s feelings toward Rene or Celine’s career.

I agree. In this case he’s just another proud father. If anything, it makes me him more likable/credible to me.

"Reveal" is such an amazing song, I wish that the instrumentation was better and went completely dance/electronic. They were too scared to lean in all the way, and it showed. So many of her uptempo songs are that, despite being well-written. One Heart, RIFOY, so on... but RIFOY never did it for me anyway personally.

I feel if her band did edgier, live versions of those songs that were true to the club/uptempo vibe, they would be amazing! Like, imagine a Madonified cover of "Reveal" on one of her concert tours for example.

I actually think the album version of “Reveal” is perfect

I am glad, because it's a great song. But I really want to remove those acoustic guitar elements for example, and make it more electro-pop.

That's one thing I loved about "Flying On My Own", she leaned into the genre instrumentation...if anything I thought the beat could've gone harder lol, but I love what they did!

I agree, they kept it more pop and could've went ALL THE WAY into EDM-pop vibe.

That’s my favorite part! Lol It totally sets the mood of the song. It’s sexy.

The song is perfect!!! The vocals, the instruments, the arrangement… the only downside is that it was never released as a single, performed live or given more attention that it deserved.

Imagine the instrumental of a “Reveal” interlude followed by a great performance of the song live back in the day. In a similar way that she did “Refuse To Dance” in the European tour a few years ago. What a missed opportunity!

Had it been possible for them to release SFL as the last single for ANDHC, and then follow it up with REVEAL as the first single from OH (I think Reveal would have been a better album title too), it would have catapulted Celine into a completely different genre. IDAN is classic, of course…but I think REVEAL would have packed a bigger punch single wise.

The album title ONE HEART is so celinish. Love it ❤️.Yes, with the right singles (REVEAL and FAITH) they would have pushed Celine in a new musical direction. But no, they released HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN LOVE...

At least HYEBIL was a success. I just wish she had different hair in the music video. I remember radio in 2003 and I’m not sure any trendy Celine song would’ve been a big success. But who knows.

Regardless, Reveal is a wonderful song,

I Drove All Night shouldn’t been bigger — but it’s become a staple over time,

It just shows that Celine can make any song a staple if you she wanted.

LCMM and RDMH not exactly “hits” in my humble opinion but Celine jammed them down our throats for years that people seem to consider them staples. That’s why I really get disappointed that Celine didn’t take more chances (no pun attended) when it came to her live setlists.

I agree completely. I was listening to the song a couple months ago, and while I love it, I felt they played it safe. I love its climax and wish it didn't fade away so quickly. Edited by LukeD
