New English Album (Pre-Release Thread Part 2)

That's the biggest deal for me. I don't care if she's no 1 everywhere again, or that she sells millions of albums (again)... For me it's about Céline getting recognition and credit for the work she has done and still is doing. A lot of people and critici only look down on her for her schmaltz and cheesiness, but it would be great they also saw the hard work she has done and still is doing, the fact that her voice is still in top shape (especially compared to her peers!!) and that she does have good decent songs in her reportoire that should be acknowledged!

On TV and in articles etc... it's always Madonna or Whitney or nowadays Rihanna or Lady Gaga... It would be awesome to see Céline mentioned every now and then!

Oh and people said she talks a lot about her family in interviews, well excuse me it's also down to the interviewer!! If questions like 'Why did you work with this producer', 'Why did you choose these songs' or 'Where do you think your career is going'... Céline definatly aint gonna talk about it

Exactly! You hit the nail on the head, Davey! Most of the credit and recognition she's getting in this past decade has been because of her pre-2000 work! But what's been of the career she had after 2002? People barely knows what she's done, and that's embarrasing when we try to explain that she has kept releasing music and new songs after 2000/2002!

But the awards she get, the mentions she has in TV/music awards and other galas, its always because of the same songs and the same albums, which all belong to the past century :confused: :pinch:

If the album is scheduled to be released in December, I think we should be getting a new CD every WEEK starting next, up till the very release day of the album. So the release of the release of the release, every week new CD.

All this talk and complaing about the album and Celine's career wont really change anything so what's the point of doing it?? Celine makes her own decisions... You all are getting worked up over something you have no control over... Just get over yourselfs and wait and be happy for the new album... At least we are getting something.. I am 14 and all of my friends and family think of Celine as some old lady whose career is dead.. But, I can't do anything about that...I am a Celine fan and I don't know any Celine fans my age.. Celine isn't exactly like every other pop artist out there.. She does her own thing! And Lady Gaga does hers..We have no control over the decisions she makes.. or what other people think.. yes...yes...THANKYOU... people keep complaining...I thought the forum were for Celine fans to talk about her awesomeness...etc not complain about the decisions she makes... We should be talking about how excited we are to have a new album...not whats not going to be on it and what Celine should have done... it's her life... in which we have no control over... I joined the forum because I have no other friends outside of the internet to talk to about Celine..not to read about complaints..etc..lets be happy!!

Thank goodness for posters like you. People who express their opinions. I already know that I come off as a douche bag, an a******, and a "celine-hater" in at least 70% of my posts, but I fully intend for that to be the case as I get so bored of everyone agreeing and giving the benfit of the doubt, and making excuses, and going on about how nobody is better and we must praise mother Celine to the heavens, etc.... all this "gushy loving" makes me want to vomit sometimes.

I am around this board on and off because I get sick of the whining and complaining that goes on here.Far as the new album she owes us nothing or needs to ex plane anything her and her crew decides to do she has soo been there done that. She has had her number ones been on top of the charts awards after awards. Right now she has whats she wants and loves a singing career with a show in Las Vegas a family that loves her and all the money she could possibly want the rest is cake.Just enjoy whenever and what ever she releases and stop taking it for granted what she does because there will be a day it's all over and nothing new at all.What will we all do then?

No, it's not to much. What else are we going to talk about? When there is nothing really going on?? Shall we dedicate yet another thread to praising Celine saying she is the best and does no wrong?? There isn't anything better to do then talk about the past, and the mistakes. The successes are well documented, afterall many of you go on and on about those as it is. The few of us who enjoy talking about the "negatives" aren't hating by any means. We're looking at the situation as it is and giving our OPINION, which we are entitled to just as much as any of you are. If you don't like it, then that's tough. Reply with a logical response to try to negate that, but don't waste my time and your time replying with some BS saying that we're haters who are not fans of Celine. It's childish, annoying, selfish, rude, disrespectful, condescending, and many more adjectives I can list if you wish.

And this isn't directed at any one person in particular. It just goes out to everyone who feels the need to moan and whine about the complainers. Funny how that works ins't it?? YOU are complaining (because we are)....doesn't that make you just as equal as us??? So don't tell me not to voice my opinion. You don't see me whining in threads telling people to shut up when I see things get so deluded.
