Was hoping it was just a rumor, since I can't really even imagine how it will sound like. Of course Placido Domingo is a great tenor, so let's have some hope. Be quick though! Tickets are going fast! Edit: I'm going with my boyfriend and we are both SO EXCITED! This 4 CD set looks really cool though, it would've been nice to hear a new version of MHWGO, but there's no sense in fixing something that isn't broken. LOL I could care less if the song gets promoted again or not. Posted February 9, 2012 at 01:04 AM Posted February 9, 2012 at 01:04 AM I want to create this topic because I strongly believe that with Titanic being re-released this April (now on April 4th in the U.S.) in 3D, and remastered 2D, that Celine's biggest hit of her career My Heart Will Go On, and the Titanic soundtrack which is being re-released by Sony Classical on March 26th internationally and March 27th in North America, will return to music charts in the U.S. and around the world. I believe this so much that I think there should be a topic ready for when it occurs. With Titanic being the highest grossing movie in history for 11 years(now the second-highest) with almost a 2 billion dollar worldwide box office gross, with Titanic holding the record for the most oscars won in history(11 tied with 2 other films), with the Titanic soundtrack spending 16 consecutive weeks as the #1 album in the U.S., selling around 30 million worldwide, and with Celine's My Heart Will Go On being called by many as the best movie song of all time, hitting #1 around the world, selling millions of CD singles, and winning so many awards including Record of the year at the Grammy's, it seems extremely likely. My Heart Will Go On and the Titanic soundtrack have continued to sell over the years. The soundtrack has sold over 10 million units now according to Soundscan, and My Heart Will Go On had sold 871,000 digital copies as of Oct. 2010 according to Billboard! Does anyone know if My Heart Will Go On has sold over 1 million digitally by now? If it has, that would be an amazing celebration given by 550 music/Epic or Sony music at a Titanic 3D promo event and a certification plaque can be given to Celine! I hope that they will honor such a success of a song that keeps selling very good! I know that there are many people that got sick of hearing My Heart Will Go On at radio, it broke a record for spins and audience in 1998, but there is a whole new generation that has never heard My Heart Will Go On being played on the big screen once the movie ends, or on the radio, or don't yet own the song because it's been out of the spotlight for years. With Titanic back at the box office this April for the ship's 100 anniversary of setting sail, it should be back into the spotlight. My Heart Will Go On has been and is a blessing from God for so many including myself. Not only does it fit perfectly with the movie, but so many can relate to the feeling, the lyrics, and the emotion of Celine's voice with a loss of a family member or a friend in their life, and I hope so much that Titanic 3D, the soundtracks re-release, and My Heart Will Go On will be returning to the charts for a brand new wave of success!
