An orchestra can sound very swell and extraordinary - the orchestra in Nature Boy orchestra version.And an orchestra can sound embarrassingly bad and awkward - the orchestra in the French Symphonic show she appeared in 2005. Yes... right now this is only rehearsals and from a very small part of the whole show... (Thank you SO MUCH Spellbound for sharing this!) but sincerely I get a little bit dissapointed because they didn't make an important orchestral arrangement in the hits part (DOL; LCMM or RDMH) and you can notice some difference in the MHWGO version.. but just a little... In here the band have more presence... probably the big moment of the Orchestra it will be de Bond Medley... At this moment I didn't like the MJ songs... they didn't say anything new... (for some moments I thought I was hearing the real MJ...) It would be better if they experiment a little bit with the songs... For example Chris cornell made and excellent new version of Billie Jean ( )... Anyway... Celine's voice sound great! like.... young??? Quote

Exactly. Her voice came through pretty clear on the recording but I've listened back to it several times and my phone really didn't pick up much of the orchestra. Granted they don't use the entire orchestra for the entire show, they rotate certain instruments/people in and out of the show for each song, but the orchestra really is stunning so my guess is it's just not as amped as her voice so it may be hard to capture on a phone or simple camera. It wasn't used though throughout the MJ medley but you can hear pieces of the orchestra, especially the horns section, during DOL. How did you get the phone into the colliseum? Most people had phones in the theatre. I honestly don't think even if they had seen it that they would have collected it. Everybody has a phone and it's just not realistic nowadays to expect to collect everybody's phone because that would take too long. They tell people once they're in the theatre to be sure to turn off their phones and some security will tell you to even put it away before the show if they see you on it before the show even starts. She also sings Ben at the beginning I just didn't get that part. In the show she sings a few lines of Ben, then stops to talk about Michael and says how he is the reason she wanted to learn to sing in English. It's actually really cool, she talks about the night he came to see her show and she couldn't look away from his seat. She then says he sat in that seat right there, and they put a spotlight on the seat he sat in, I would love to sit in there to be in the spotlight for that one moment in the show haha. After the little intro she goes back into singing Ben, then Man in the Mirror and everything else you hear in the recording. I can't remember a verse being cut out but for some reason it just felt shorter. After I just can't stop loving you she just walked off stage left if I remember correctly. That was how it was for pretty much every time she went for a costume change. She would just wave and walk off stage while the orchestra or a couple musicians gave an instrumental break. She would normally appear again from up stage center or would walk in front of the curtain. I remember for MHWGO I could see her running with a couple people with flash lights trying to help her get in her spot. This is a song where she walks down from center stage and I could see her literally sprinting through the left backstage area all the way around to the back. I was wondering if they would do anything to smooth the transition or have a curtain in the back so it's not so visible. DOL was great! and Man in the mirror seemed good i wish it was longer. Quote

Did they ever stand by Celine on stage? and is Mary-lou gone for sure and replaced by the black girl?
