The Power of Love; Because You Loved Me; It's All Coming Back to Me Now; My Heart Will Go On. Hopefully a few more… So the people in the audience will still have that "Oh my God, I'm in the room with Celine Dion" feeling. But it will still be fresh, new, and exciting for Celine. Because she is being challenged to sing all of these "new" songs. As far as the stage setup… I agree with an earlier poster who thinks that the platforms will seamlessly fade into the visuals happening onstage. And that will be classy and gorgeous. People are complaining that this show doesn't look as expensive as A New Day… BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE EXPENSIVE! It seems like we are actually going to have more of Celine's live vocals with this show. And that fact ALONE makes these tickets much more valuable than what we paid for A New Day… And the backdrop of this show will be stunning. I can just feel it. A New Day… had so much STUFF. Which was great for that show. I really adore A New Day… But this show is more in line for one of the world's greatest vocalists! That's why most of us are fans of Celine Dion. Orchestra. Many people are aware of her covers of these songs (particularly "Without You") -- but to the general public, they are not thought of as Mariah songs. So I think Celine, for the most part, is safe to cover these songs. But it's really a joke to think that Mariah Carey's version of "Open Arms" is bigger than Journey's. Quote

For me, I am going to hear Celine sing, it doesnt matter what she sings, but to just be in the same room with her presence and that magical voice will be enough. I loved Celine when I was 15 years old, and now that I am 34 I am so passionate about her beautiful voice, that to me original songs, covers, do not matter. I'm definitely going to prefer this show to AND. You never knew where to look during that one!! Dancers, LED, Band, Singers, and of course Celine amongst it all. As for the stage, it looks like she's got all the front section to herself - so it doesn't look too cramped there. Anyone who's seen that stage in person knows exactly how big it is. And i'm so glad its flat now - it was awful to walk on, and i only did it once!! LIVE AND LET DIE ---- YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited March 8, 2011 at 02:15 AM by Cheerfuljane Quote
